Weather

Temperate now but we'll have real hard freezes over XMas. And snow! A white XMas!

I may have mentioned this before. A guy in Minnesota or Manitoba or wherever grew tired of cold winters. He said he planned to tie his snowblower to the roof of his car and drive south. When people pointed and asked, "What's that?" he figured he'd gone far enough.

It's a nice 5°F with no wind, this morning. Going to be a pretty day once it gets light.

Got a couple inches of the white stuff but it seems to be tapering off. The boss and I are headed out for an overnight in the plow truck. Be careful all venturing forth this holiday weekend! Have a safe and merry Christmas.

No snow for Christmas, just rain and unseasonably warm temperatures.

Light snow and a hard freeze now.

We cranked up the heater inside the housecar.

Hope the tanks and lines hold.

Warming up to the high 20's (°F) and a stiff breeze. 15 mph or so.

They've obviously confused drought with the natural outcome of a swamp being drained.

;) ;) ;)

Yesterday it was 72° F and I was wearing a sundress. Then around 3pm the wind started picking up and I had to shut the windows and put on more clothes. The temp dropped 14 degrees in less than an hour. By evening it was raining and lots colder today is more rain and so fat the high is 37. Mother nature is nothing but a tease!

We had that sort of oddity here too.
Last Sunday they predicted clear skies, mid-80s all week except for Friday night, an intense squall line would blow through Houston.

God bless them all, they hit it on the nose. Mid 80s all day Friday, late afternoon the sky starts turning green (never a good sign) and at sundown we get monster winds/rain/hail. Flash flooding. Two hours later....nothing.

This morning it was back in the high 70s.

At least it got nice again!!! I think we're supposed to have rain til Tuesday or something. I should move to a warmer dryer climatw

Supposed to rain here for next 3 days. There is talk of evacuating Toronto Island. Just got over a shyte load of rain. Must be hampering planting by now all this rain.

There's a reason it's called 'the flood plain'.

Looks like sun through tomorrow, some clouds for the weekend, and more of the same for next week. Might hit 60°F next Thursday.

There was a small patch of snow in the yard this morning, but I bet it's all gone, this afternoon.

My extended forecast for the upcoming week is all high sixties.... Gorgeous weather with only a 30% chance of rain!!

Sunny, cool and dry. We may have had our last frost. Time to start planting. I hope the forest doesn't catch fire.
