I pretty much agree with everything Michelle has written on this thread.MichelleLovesTo said:Well, he IS asking about individual opinions, and that does vary based on personal experience. Most people of a certain age HAVe lost their virginity, buy presumably most have not screwed -- I'm sorry, boned -- a close personal relative.
There's another issue here. I believe the original poster wrote on another board and thread that a girl is not a virgin unless her hymen is intact. It made me think there are a lot of pre-teen girls who are, by his standards, not virgins due to sports injuries. Girls who horseride (in the purest sense of the word) or slip off their bike seats often tear their hymens, and are clearly -- in any meaningful sense of the word -- virgins. The insistence of really "popping a cherry" is fetishy. And, can only happen once per person, making it something you can't fixate on in a longterm relationship.
The first time is sometimes wonderful, but often painful and awkward. It isn't always a good idea to romanticize it. Just like Christmas Day, it's over all too soon, and not always what you'd anticipated or expected.
I've been two women's firsts. Neither had an intact hymen due to dance and horseback riding.
A well written first time story is hot, but any well written sex story can be hot. It's not a specific fetish of mine, nor a turnoff.
