I’ve only just begun, but so far I’m really liking the new material.

I love Mircalla repeatedly demanding to know if Lucy consents. So far, much better balanced than the draft, alternating between Adamir and Lucy. The supernatural hints are done brilliantly.

That came about thanks to your suggestions and comments. You were right, I made him an asshole in the earlier draft because we were only seeing things from Lucy's view and she thought he was an asshole, lol. I didn't want him to be an asshole, though.

(And I really hope this version is better than my draft. That was basically bare bones "this is the general basic idea I'm gonna go with. Flesh will come over the next few passes." [I think I did four total passes before submitting.]) And five passes to this post...

Something to note:

Tio pointed out that I have Adamir knowing Charlie, but he had Charlie not knowing Adamir. This is an easy flub to fix as the Internet is an anonymous friendly place and Adamir is clearly a horror buff himself. It's not out of the realm of possibility that Adamir converses with Charlie as a horror fan through the 'zine and not as the horror-world renowned auteur. So bear in mind for future installments that Charlie is unaware that Adamir knows anything about him, and he doesn't know he's interacted with Adamir. Adamir is fully aware of Lucy, her boss, the 'zine, etc.

Well, that's Ch. 06 submitted. Shared doc has the final version.

Lucy has two very different deaths in Adamir's film now. Maybe they're alternate endings, maybe one is a dream, or maybe Adamir is weaving together two very different films to make a point.

There are various ways to take this forward. If you want to play into the supernatural, then perhaps Mircalla has inherited the curse of vampirism, perhaps Anna is an immortal and perhaps Wolf is an actual werewolf. Or you can ignore these and pluck at the threads that Erozetta left, and have a serial killer in the crew - maybe even Anna herself, willing to push cast members to psychological extremes to get Adamir the performances he needs. Or maybe this is it and now everyone goes home...

It's possible you cut it and I didn't double check that part as confiscating the phones on set for a reclusive director made more sense to me than not confiscating them. Particularly with her being a reporter and Mina fangirling. The risk of leaks would be high.

Okay people! I copied my first draft in the file, it's about 7200 words. I have some ideas on how to flesh it out more, I put my comments about it at the very end. Please take a look, especially @AlinaX but everyone else too - I'm sorry I wasn't involved in earlier chapters.
