who here thinks reading about a virgin getting pounded for the first time is one of the most erotic things in the world?

Reading about a guy inching tenderly into her giving her an experince she's never felt before, and then quickly breaking his lovers hymen, burrying himself in her to the hilt feeling her pussy slowly adapt to it's invader making her scream out in a mix of pain and extacy is one of the most erotic thing in the world?

so what do you think? let the world know your opinion.

Nope, not very erotic to me. Sorry. Although the moment can be a tender part of love, the result is blood and pain for the young lady. Although the second time is more pleasurable there is still a great deal of pain involved.

Even well-written stories involving virgins don't do much for me, because I simply have a hard time imagining myself as one of the characters in the tale. [I lost my virginity 26 years ago.]

In addition, I prefer a measure of realism as opposed to wildly exaggerated sexual encounters in erotic fiction. And the type of experience you've described here seems very unrealistic to me.

However, your post reminds me of something that Dr. Mabeuse wrote a few days ago, on the Jungle Love thread.

The male counterpart is the Sleeping Beauty story archetype, in which the man brings the woman to life through a sexual act. This seems to be the basis for most "men's" porn, and you see it in all those stories where women just turn nymphomaniac in the guy's presence or have a near-religious experience by having sex with him.
If true, his comments presage a very positive reception among many male readers for this type of deflowering tale.

the subject has only limited appeal for me at this point in my life...I can certainly find those elements to be appealing, but the characterizations have to really hit. There is a tendency to overdo the "it was her first time but she was a pro" thing...

okay

well im still a virgin so thinking of boning another virgin is a real head urner for me

I think virginity of a person in a story is hot when it's linked with corruption. Reading Choderlos or Sade, 18th century porn, the pure virgin becomes an erotic object, who is then defiled.

From the NY Times review of Frears' "Dangerous Liaisons,"

The plot is motivated by a cruel wager between the beautiful but debauched Marquise de Merteuil (Glenn Close) and her misogynistic former lover, the Vicomte de Valmont (John Malkovitch). The Marquise challenges Valmont to seduce the virginal Cecile de Volanges (Uma Thurman) before the girl can be wed.

The virginal Cecile is undone by skullduggery, then responds in a way that suggests her moral corruption.

Virginity, has it's own appeal. Mostly, that appeal is in the mind of the individual reader. From my perspective, it hurt, a lot. Not a very erotic memory there, and lie it or no, a story's erotic content is going to suffer when it touches on that particular memory.

It can have some serious appeal, if the love/trust factor is played up by a skillful writer as part of building character and relationship.

As much as I enjoyed everything leading up to it, the 'ecstacy' ended when he hit the wall. Took a lot to get me to try it again. So, I don't read any of the 'first time' stories here or elsewhere.

In my past real life I had a virgin boy (20+) and it was truly lovely. I adored him when he couldn't quite find the entrance and asked for help. (I helped :p .)

Having read both your posts, I sincerely hope that the first time you actually get to the point with a willing partner, that your language of the moment undergoes a radical change.

There is nothing whatsoever, romantic or enticing in the way you describe the act.

I was a virgin and so was she, it was really enjoyable right up until I tried to push all the way in. I am now partially deaf in my right ear. It was no fun after that only pain and suffering for her. She wanted me to be the one, so she put up with the pain until I had broke through. I then held her in my arms until she stopped crying. She didn't want to try again for a week and even then it still hurt, not as much, but the pain and the memory were still there. It took the longest time for her to truely enjoy the act of intercourse again.

Word of advice - don't call it boning. Virgins aren't so enthused about a guy who wants to bone them.

Not a big turn-on for me either. The story I was least satisfied with was the one about a virgin, and I've now taken it down.

The comments I've read from woman on various threads here seems to suggest that the act was more or less painful for some. It seems to vary fairly widely. Perhaps the concept is more erotic for those who have not experienced it or who experienced it with someone for whom it was not so painful and traumatic as it was for Zeb's lover.

Personally, I suspect it's mostly about the "purity" issues - "I'm the first!" I also recall reading a commentary on one of the French kings suggesting that his taste for virgins might have been due to his desire not to have his technique criticized. ;)

I'm not sure it can be written anymore eloquently than that.

That is the most eloquent sarcasm I've read on this forum.

Admiringly,

I prefer stories where both are experienced enough to know how to give pleasure to each other.

I pretty much prefer partners who know what they are doing, however, it is all dependent on the person and their attitude. Attitude is everything.

very odd, most of these comments...

it's as if someone said, 'anyone think incest stories are hot?'

and several replied, "for me, incest was traumatic and i think lots of survivors are deeply ashamed."

I have written a couple of stories about sex with a virgin. They were written in the first person and involved the narrator performing oral or anal sex on them. They would probably be called technical virgins.

I also have a story about a man and woman, both virgins, on their wedding night. I think it is rather sweet.

Well, he IS asking about individual opinions, and that does vary based on personal experience. Most people of a certain age HAVe lost their virginity, buy presumably most have not screwed -- I'm sorry, boned -- a close personal relative.

There's another issue here. I believe the original poster wrote on another board and thread that a girl is not a virgin unless her hymen is intact. It made me think there are a lot of pre-teen girls who are, by his standards, not virgins due to sports injuries. Girls who horseride (in the purest sense of the word :) ) or slip off their bike seats often tear their hymens, and are clearly -- in any meaningful sense of the word -- virgins. The insistence of really "popping a cherry" is fetishy. And, can only happen once per person, making it something you can't fixate on in a longterm relationship.

The first time is sometimes wonderful, but often painful and awkward. It isn't always a good idea to romanticize it. Just like Christmas Day, it's over all too soon, and not always what you'd anticipated or expected.

Yeah, it's not what he asked, it's how he asked it.

And when you don't have fond memories of your first time, it's not really a turn-on to read about someone pounding and boning virgins.

I would present the analogy in a different way.

It's as if someone asked......

"Does any people here think incest stories are hot?"

........ and some of the responses mocked the questioner's mismatch in tense, while others expressed the equivalent of: "Good god. I hope no one leaves you alone with your little sister."
