Vampire Whore

When I was recently in New Orleans, I went on the vampire tour...surprise, huh?

Vampire Tour Link

It was awesome...if you're ever there, do go!

Most of what Hollywood depicts a vampire to be is just for the special effects, but is loosely based on vampire folklore and "vampire" murders throughout history (and vampire history dates back to the ancient Egyptians)...vampires do NOT have fangs. The means in which they got blood from their victims was (is? lol) to make a 3 inch cut on the back between the left shoulder blade and the spine, reach inside to the aorta and...;)

I'm a big vampire fan too.

One of the hottest vamps ever was Kate Beckinsale in the Underworld movies. I was soooo jealous of that Lycan guy when she bit him in the first movie!

I liked the special effects, The jump from the top of the building was great, even though it many cases it was a little corny, I liked the vampiress' in Van Helsing.

Haven't seen Van Helsing yet. I'll put it on my list.

Yeah, Underworld was pretty weak in the writing department. Kate Beckinsale in leather/latex made up for it somewhat.

But it was still a great flick, it is one of my favorites. Van Helsing is great with the effects, but some were stupid, if you can get by that, you'll have fun with it. By the way its Kate Beckinsale again.

you also might try Innocent Blood, although a considerably lower budget film, and no fangs, it's still a good movie though its more of a comedy.

There is Lifeforce which is about vampires from another world, good flick tho.

There is Merebito a japanese film low budget minimal cast but interesting if you like that type of film.

I can go on and on though some would get a little bit cheesey like Ankle Biters Vampire dwarves that bite anklles, don't bother it really sux, no pun intended.

I own about 135 differant vamp films, its a hobby for me.

I read vampire lit. All Anne Rice...I love Lestat. Laurell Hamilton's Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series, Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunters series, and others. The whole biting thing is so intimate and sexy. :catroar:

yup the biting the neck thing...way sexy...blood, not my thing... I guess i would make a lousy vampire

I'm not a big Kate Beckinsale fan. She just doesn't appeal to me somehow. The only thing I've liked her in so far is the Underworld movies--in which she didn't even play a human being.

(I feel the same about Halle Berry and the X-men, but that's another story.)

I just read that HBO is coming out with a new vampire series soon too.

I liked most of Anne Rices work The Vampire Lestat was really good. The last book in the series was a little less interesting than the others.

I will have to check out the Dark Hunter series, I haven't read it yet.

And as for the neck thing, its what keeps me going.

I didn't hear about it. I have the last vampire series they came out with called Kindred The Embraced, but it wasn't my style.

I do know of a new vamp flick that just came out, but I havent been able to find it playing around here. It's called Skinwalkers (with an s) I hope it's not going to be another gore flick, but nowadays it's probably will be. Not that its all bad as long as they still keep with a good storyline and some of the good old fasioned stuff.

And as far as Forever Knight, I didn't really get into it, it reminded me too much of kung foo with all the flashbacks. Maybe I just didn't watch it long enough to get into it.

I will definitely add my name to the Vampire fan list.... I have read all the Ann Rice, all the Brian Lumley, (which I highly encourage all fans to check out this author and his Necroscope series, my fav of all time) and a few other random books, to many to name here, oh and a book entitled 1000 and 1 Vicious little Vampire Stories! The Princess started to worry when I bought that one.

I loved Kindred: The Embraced, even though it was only 6 episodes (I have the entire series).

The new TV show is called Moonlight, and I think it's going to be on CBS.

I agree. biting is what makes it for me. Vampire or not, my neck is the way to my heart, errr, well other parts too.

I never read the books just no time, but I have heard many good things.

I quite like that bit in Blade, at the rave in the beginning when the sprinklers spray everyone with blood and that one girl sensually runs her hands up her body and over her tits.

Still, that might not have much to do with them being vampires.

Chupacabra, Let me know if you like it.

OK, Here is a link to my latest piece of art called Chupacabra, Let me know if you like it.
