I kind of like when vampire movies to stick the conventions. Garlic as a repellant, distasteful...crucifix (though other religious symbology ought to apply). On the latter, I thought 'Fright Night' did it best, with the concept of faith being necessary for the crucifix to have effect.

tampas close enough to chicago, I can be there in about 20 minutess.

My favorite was quintin terintino's first shot at it... anyone remember the name if so you get a gold star! It was more of a comedy but you can't go wrong with salma....

or... a silver cross maybe?

I love the chicago "X" steakhouse. I would drive out there for a steak and the key lime pie a couple times a year.

I will even trust them to serve it blue, which is my favorite on a good cut... but it has to be the perfect lean cut.

Ok I am really a vampire film fanatic, as well as other horror / sci-fi, but vampires in particular, I think they are kinda sensual with the idea of biting someones neck. Am I alone in this or are there others that like vamps as much as me?

I like Bela Lugosi best as a vamp. He has all the mysique and style. Little bit, anyone know how many times you saw his fangs in the original flick?
