Use my Characters for the Virtual Literotica Convention 2025 Author Challenge

Hello, everyone!! I'm just checking in to see how this Author's Challenge is going. I've been SUPER busy and haven't posted many new stories (or hung out on the forums) much the last few weeks, but I have a story ready to go for the Literotica Convention! And then another entry right behind it!

So, who has already submitted and who has one that will be submitted? Just curious how you're all doing with this challenge. And a little apprehensive on whether this challenge has been well-received!! Thank you!!

I love the challenge, but I found it, well — challenging. You either have a story idea and must find characters for it in the pool, or you set your mind on some characters and then must construct a story between them. In any case you need to do a lot of reading, before you can start writing.

It can be challenging. For what it's worth, I didn't do a ton or reading. I gathered some characters that people had posted on this thread then either asked for descriptions (or descriptions were posted) or did some reading to get the vibe of a character and if I had any specific questions, I would message the author. For me, I asked for free range carte blanche with their characters. I knew that my brain would go wherever it went and I didn't want to put up any restrictions on my creative process. From there, it was easy for me.

So-and-so is a lesbian who had one hetero relationship and has wondered ever since... Well, guess what? So-and-so is going to have a second hetero relationship a the convention!! And I would just run from that starting point.

If I can help with anything, let me know.

I’m late getting started, but I will be submitting a story.

I want to disclose something that will be addressed in my entry, Tiafell has a slight British accent. When I type dialogue for my characters, I imagine their voices in my head, and Tiafell speaks with that kind of accent, as do all the elves (except for Trista who did not grow up with the others). It’s not something I’ve ever had a reason to address in his story and I don’t type his accent out anyway, so it’s really not that vital.

To those who are using Tiafell and have already written him in, don’t worry about including his accent. I just wanted to say something because someone will comment on his accent in my story, and I didn’t want other writers to feel like they missed out on an important detail.

With that out of the way, have fun everyone!

Mirror Twin was by me, and I'm delighted that Ingrid and Astrid might get a chance to perform! If they speak it might be helpful to remember that they are Australian, but have had a classical education so their accent will be closer to English than a broad Australian tone. Their French accents are okay as well, and they speak some Norweigan (and visited Oslo on their European travels). They might puzzle some of the more passport-challenged in the crowd, but hopefully that would add to their charm.

I'm still intending to submit, but time is getting short and I don't have a story concept yet. I still love the idea though and will try.

I have made the correction. Not sure how I got the names wrong. Anything I should keep in mind for Fatemah?

No, and thank you for thinking of using her! In the original story I was trying to convey very strong intelligence - the kind of person who's three moves ahead in every conversation but is constrained through navigating a tough situation in Saudi Arabia. At the end of Part 3, her (soon to be ex) husband is in custody in the USA, and she is also there and planning to split her time between there and Saudi Arabia as a businesswoman (including with the 'women in Saudi' partnership with the Californian connections) and actively exploring her sexuality on the side (as per your summary). The last substantial reference about the future was:

(the Narrator): It seemed likely that Fatemah would get a divorce and a major financial settlement and that Ahmad would serve jail time in exchange for stronger action not being taken in Saudi Arabia about this serial adultery. And both Steph and I would be getting an agreed settlement for the stealthing. Fatemah had been insistent on including that in the negotiations. We would lose the income stream from Ahmad's money laundering, but it also seemed likely that we would be allowed to use the money that we had put aside towards the Saudi women in business program, with Fatemah the Saudi face of the program. And it would be her face, as she had decided that she wouldn't wear a veil any more.

... I gathered some characters that people had posted on this thread then either asked for descriptions (or descriptions were posted) or did some reading to get the vibe of a character ... For me, I asked for free range carte blanche with their characters. ...
The special appeal of this challenge was, that it might not just be a collection of stories, but that they weave a kind of tapestry via references to other stories and the home-stories that introduced them. So I loved the information of @BryanRichardson holding a swing dance class. My Bella hears the music and goes to peek. Or Rodrigo from @VerbalAbuse in his home-story has an affair with an androgynous crossdresser, that reminded me of Tiafell from @Bassytian, so I created a little substory with them.

But really tough was @oneagainst: He donated all characters from his Wonderland series, acting innocently. It has a whopping 150k Words! His Victoria has her key scene in a cage and my Bella happened to have a cage in her makeshift dungeon. Ha! And his Cassie runs a BDSM club, while my Bella wants to open one in her home story.

And if authors allow, I might have Rodrigo, Cassie and Victoria come and visit Bella in a later story of her series.

To help readers, my story starts with a who's who section.

In response to Andreas' comment on my story, I have included a Bio for the four main characters in my story (to be submitted when I have written this). But also in response to comments from other authors and readers, I have put the note...
For those not familiar with Alex Hughes, aka Mr Fourways, his partner Bella and the two of Freya Gersemi’s characters, see the Bios at the end.
And done so! That allows readers the choice as I know some switch off when they see 44DD, 28, 40 and prefer to pick up details from the narrative!

I have also (with a note in the intro copied in full) included the programme as previously put on the main forum (also included for easy reference, but I have forgotten the weather report!).

Alex Hughes, aka Mr Fourways!

This story is written for the Literotica Convention 2025 writer’s challenge. The convention occurs at the Grand City Hotel and the programme is attached at the end. The story involves elements of Anal, Voyeurism, Exhibitionism, Swapping and even mild Bondage. I still think the Erotic Couplings is the most appropriate category, but be warned.

Freya Gersemi is the Convention Host and Fantastic Storyteller. Her characters Cynthia and Katie used with her consent and approval! Make sure your read her Convention Stories!
For those not familiar with Alex Hughes, aka Mr Fourways, his partner Bella and the two of Freya Gersemi’s characters, see the Bios at the end.

I have my story largely written, in my head and partially in a document. I have permission to use most of the characters I intend to use, but I'm having difficulty narrowing a gay/bisexual male down. I could use @VerbalAbuse's Rodrigo, but @Andreas_Kreuz is actually using him in a similar fashion, and I don't want to knowingly use the same characters together in two stories. 😅

I actually teamed up Rodrigo with tiafell, but do not go into detail, so you might want to take over from that. I occupy Rodrigo Friday to Saturday morning and Saturday evening to Sunday morning. The rest of the time he is free for whatever you have in mind. Having a gay/bisexual story in the mix would be nice.

I’ve tried sending messages to authors to ask to use their characters, but the “send instant feedback” system keeps telling me that I can’t send messages. Is it because (so far) I’ve been trying to contact people who haven’t posted in a couple of years? Or am I doing something wrong?

I rarely get answers through the author email. Not everyone monitors the mailbox they used for lit.

Is "send instant feedback" the external email link? You could try the envelope button ("conversations") at the top of the page. I think it should be at the top of this exact page (it's not on some, but seems to be up there on the forum pages). That's a link to the Literotica Private Message thingie. That keeps everything right on this site, so if they don't check emails, they will still get notified on this site. Hopefully this solves your issue!

I’ve been trying the envelope icon on the authors page, not the one here in the forum. Maybe that will work.

It’s not even letting me send the message.

Problem might be (like me) they don't monitor the actual email address on a daily basis. Forums is usually a better way to reach someone, since I *have* to pass through this when publishing stories.
