I'm with you ChaperonRouge, there are some brilliant UK women on here - clever, witty and sexy. UK everytime for me!

Thanks Brung! Always happy to take compliments :D There don't seem to be that many women here tho. Is it just a UK thing?

Glad there are a few from mids here.
how is everyone today????
also whats everyone into and anyone chatting???

My defence

I acknowledge that my post was a sweeping statement and I am always open to changing my mind but I maintain;

1)That my previous post was perfectly polite, even if the contents were contentious.
2)That too many English girls ( and I mean girls ages 12-35) are pretty stuck up.

I genuinely think that may English girls feel that they are doing someone a favour simply by talking to them. Just because a man speaks to a girl, doesn't mean he is trying to come on to her. In US and other countries people talk to each other far more without assumptions or presumptions; something missing from the UK and from far too many girls; men on the whole tend to be far too simple in any country to have the same problem (yes I know men's problems could fill a book but it would be a short one with pictures) - and Heat Magazine is not a conversation.

So be honest English girls, how often have you cold shouldered a man simply because he doesn't fit your type and you assume he must be trying it on?

you should take a trip to newcastle.

...or plymouth. no dramas with stuck-up birds there, muh man. :D

Ah well I don't fall into your age demographic but I'll answer anyway :D

I'll talk to most people, about pretty much anything, if I've got the time and as long as they're polite and reasonably literate.

If I get mails/chats full of text talk I'll ask 'em to stop using it, and if I get the ones that have that STUPID A/S/L crap as a 'hello' then they either get ignored or told to eff off and make the effort to read my profile.

As to real face to face conversations, I live in a village, I'll talk to anyone and everyone :) You can tell the people from villages (not the same as village people  ) cos we're the ones chatting away to perfect (and non-perfect) strangers everywhere we go, and being looked at as if we're aliens:rolleyes:

So, in short (yeah, I know I waffle) I don't give the cold shoulder based on assumptions.

Well I'm not a girl so maybe my opinion is not required, but I think you might be approaching the wrong women-look around you on lit-there are the most amazing, beautiful, funny and articulat women here-Uk and other nations who would be more than happy to converse with someone who demonstrates similar qualities.

I never make assumptions-that just shows ignorance and don't judge on apearances either. I have cold shouldered people before but mainly because they were particularly unsubtle in their approach or it was clear to me they were taking the piss-I'm too old to play games now.

Maybe if you filled out your profile a little more and posted around some more of the boards so that you got to know a few of us better and vice versa you'd find that we're actually pretty friendly and welcoming-just be aware that these are boards and not a chat room so instantaneous answers aren't always possible or forthcoming but I always try and respond to a comment addressed directly to me unless my concentration span has reduced to that of a 2 year old and I've kind of drifted off...............:D

Just my two penn'orth-feel free to ignore it

Jane

25 year old female from northern ireland. looking other females if possible.

so a shag and a bacon sandwich - not necessarily running concurrent (too much opportunity for a brown sauce incident... WTF? to occur) - is outta the question?

I'd just like to point out that I don't live in Plymouth and I'm happy being stuck up...did that come out right? :D

i was merely pointing out the propensity - in my experience - for the good ladies of plymouth to drop their nix.

mind you, it's easy to be fooled by royal marines running amock in union st, but even if they are dressed as women the hiary legs, biceps, and adam's apple kinda gives the game away.

- not that i'm too fussy mind.

Ah, Union Street! It looks so harmless in daylight - skanky, but harmless.
