Question 1: If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had eight kids already -- three who were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had syphilis -- would you recommend that she have an abortion?

Read the next question before scrolling down to the answer of this one.

Question 2: It is time to elect a new world leader, and your vote counts.

Here are the facts about the three leading candidates:

Candidate A: Associates with crooked politicians and consults with astrologists. He's had two mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.

Candidate B: He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college and drinks a quart of whisky every evening.

Candidate C: He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks an occasional beer and hasn't had any extramarital affairs.

Which of these candidates would be your choice?
Decide first -- no peeking! -- then scroll down for the answer.

A N S W E R S

Candidate A is Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Candidate B is Winston Churchill.
Candidate C is Adolph Hitler.

And by the way:
If you said yes to the abortion question, you just killed Beethoven.

Pretty interesting, isn't it? Makes a person think before judging someone.

Remember amateurs built the ark; professionals built the Titanic.

I love thoes questions....I was in my senior high government class when our teacher asked us that....I voted for Churchill and to let the baby live....(come on it had to be a freakin trick) but over half the class picked Hitler and killed the child. Tsk Tsk

Yep, reminds us why we should never judge a book by its cover :)

Have a great evening :)

OK, I have read this over five times, looking hard for the one way it can be interpreted as something other than the dumbest fucking statement in the history of human thought, and I am using the word "thought" advisedly.

Perhaps you'd care to explain...

We rarely agree, but I am with you on this one until an adequate explaination is served up, but I am not holding my breath.

if you are going to make an ASS out of yourself....Diablesse at LEAST type a sentence that makes some sense!!!!

just as an aside the sinking of the Titanic was not the fault of it's builders. The orginal design also had lots more life boats.

Hitler was a good politician and a clever man, insane and a crap general.

I am pleased I voted for Churchill

I advocated having the baby, then tying off the tubes.

I recognized Hitler.

I voted for Churchill, but I figured he could have been Lyndon Johnson (he drank a bottle of Cutty Sark every night )

Since both of these questions have been on the board before (twice, in fact) I had a pretty easy time picking.

I'm gonna regret this,

ck ck.. i let the baby live but i chose adolf hitler... (but i like him anyway)

As Astro pointed out, Hitler was pretty smooth and a helluva politician. How many people could rally a whole nation to exterminate a group of people based on their beliefs? I'm sorry, but I fail to believe that everywhere outside of liberated democracy is warped and demented. He was a genius and smooth talker to have pulled that one out. In many (admittedly one-sided) views, he could be listed as akin to Clinton, Rudy Gulliani and G.W. Bush.

Do I advocate him (or actually think the aforementioned trio are budding Hitlerites?) Hardly. He was sick and should have been dealt with.

I am uneducated in history, so PLEASE tell me I'm wrong, but I think had Hitler not gone for European domination (i.e. kept his fingers in Germany), he would have gotten away with a German holocaust. After all, the U.S. didn't get involved until later, and the Axis could have had time to brew their little schemes to a more stoic perfection.

Boy, I like being the Devil's Advocate!

:D :)  :(

Ok, flame on! (BTW - I'm just trying to attack the 'Hitler was evil - end of story' mentality - it's shallow and dances around explanations. If you don't know much as to why Hitler was evil, then you're shortchanging yourself.)

No real big lost.

Wait, did you mean that dog from those movies or the musician??
