First of all, the reason that I can find the term "black" offensive is that the word is really just a social construct of race. It doesn't describe a person's features, heritage or culture. I myself get grouped as "black" in America even though I am biracial and quite light skinned. In America though, you are either black or white and thats all there is to it. Calling me or any person with African heritage "black" is a big simplification. Other than that, I just cant stand the way it flows off of peoples tongues sometimes. I think that a lot of racists use this new movement away from politically coreect language to just be more openly racist.

It genuinely doesn't bother me when non-black people I know use the term and I know they mean nothing by it. I thought it was implied in my earlier post, but I should have made it more clear that my former roommate was a little racist. He was a tremendous wigger who listened to nothing but rap music. He thought all black people were "gangstas" and he used to ask every black friend I brought over if they had any weed on them or if they played for the basketball team.

Also, the black girl I was talking about was the first one, the young looking one with the nice smile.

By the way, I LOVE BangBus. My roommate and I (different guy) go around saying "You are now property of the motherfucking BANGBUS" all the time. Thats not Dirty Sanchez in those pictures by the way, I've seen him before. I actually have that video on my computer, its pretty good.

OK on the black thing. I just use it as an identifier, mostly, when I don't know somebody's name, as in "which guy do I talk to at the cigar store?" "The young black guy." Or I will say "the old white guy" if that is who I mean, if the place is mixed and I want to identify a specific person. That's the quickest way to identify. If everybody is white or everybody black I'll start doing young/old, haircolor and length, beard or not, hat or not, etc.
