My inlaws are vegan, going to visit is horrible. We always end up eating out.

Or how many plants only exist because of the amount of animal life that has to die to sustain them? I've been on real farms. Anyone who tells you they won't eat something that required an animal to die is either on a hunger strike or has no idea what is actually involved with growing their food.
And I hate most vegans because most of the ones I've met proselytize >.< Okay, it's nice that you're not eating animal products... now stop trying to get me to do the same before I shove a steak down your throat.

They are good about not trying to force their views on us, but they don't cook meat for us or anyone. We went for christmas one year and it was vegan...I told my husband that I will never spend another holiday with them. It ruined it for me. They live in Seattle though and Seattle people...I used to live there but am much more sensible now, haha.

We have never even asked to cook meat. They would probably say yes, but it would be weird. I would just rather eat out.
