People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. The important part is to figure out which one they are and not hold on longer then you are suppose to.

Making acquaintances is easy. But Friendship, fully giving one's time and self to another, investing yourself in another person, therein lies the greatest challenge... and the greatest reward.:heart:
 
That people rarely step outside their comfort zone, especially when it comes to getting to know other people. If the same old reactions and methods don't work, it becomes too much effort. So some people, who are odd...remain alone. Outsiders.
 
Some people come to you with problems, and when they help. Some come to you to share the celebrations, and/or to make them.
Some come just to be held or comforted; some come to dance with you.
A true friend - shares both. They're as quick to come celebrate a win as they are to need assurance after a loss.
A true friend is balance.

There is no joy in realizing how much, or how long, a friendship was just being used.
 
Friendships should be easy not difficult to maintain. It should be a conversion of thoughts that tend to coincide. It isn't a perfect world but life would be easier if more people would be more acceptable to others without prejudice.

Not sure yet why things are lining up like they are. Spent the last 2 weeks fighting to get things done for surgery ASAP. 1 week lost to a stupid office manager who screwed around not getting the MRI referral in when she was supposed to. 1 week of extra extreme pain due to the required chest x-ray by a medical professional who had me raise my arms overhead for a side shot causing huge tears of the adhesions in there.

I've had to kick an ass to get that MRI which was the hardest one ever pain wise due to those adhesion tears. Tomorrow was the follow up to set the surgery date (I had hoped for next week) but now the robo system called to cancel that appointment.

Why?? Why the extra trouble, the extra pain and still no surgery lined up???? Where is the lesson in that???

Im so sorry honey...I know this has been a long arduous path for you...I wish I could take away your pain, I really do...Hurts me to see you suffer...am keeping you in my prayers though for quick healing...Bless you...:rose::heart:

But the friendship goes on.
 
although I still have good days and bad, I think I am getting better. And I will make it through this....

My neighbor's Asian pear trees burst into full bloom this week, a pink and white celebration of spring and all its promise.
Today's rain and wind have knocked the blossoms off; they litter the muddy ground.
Enjoy beauty when you have the chance.
