This I Believe

I believe I'm not a total crank wad but
I'm sure getting tired of coming across people who STILL need their butts spanked hard.

I believe that expectations and resentments are but two sides of the same coin: you can't have one without the other.

It's relatively easy to look at old relationships, see the mistaken expectations, and then put the resentments away. It's hard as hell to do the same with ongoing relationships.

Having no expectations is NOT the same thing as expecting nothing. Easy to understand conceptually-but the first is hard as hell to live by; the second is a trap it's far too easy to get stuck in.

TRUTH! :rose:

I can never know it someone else is sincere... I dislike greatly when I want desperately to believe their words, despite knowing their actions belie those words. This I believe sucks.

If each person acted with the kindness and generosity they themselves crave, this would be one hell of a beautiful place.

It may not make a difference, but I won't stop trying; because this, I believe.

Be kind. Be gracious. Be true. These are the rules to a good life. Its that easy...this l believe.

Have you ever worked on a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle, on a shaky card table, with a dog sleeping under the table? Seems like when you start getting the picture, then the dog scratches or rolls over, and the pieces go flying.
I believe this is my metaphor for life. Yeah, you get there, but you're always rebuilding and rearranging.

l luv doing jigsaw puzzles....l even own a shaky old card table lol....and l have a dog that sleeps on my feet, so many things in common. ;)

The task is to learn how to enjoy everyday life without diminishing other people's chances to enjoy theirs.............This I believe

No matter how dark things get, no matter how far down you feel you have fallen, loving yourself through it all, will help you rise up and be in the light again. This I know is true and believe.

I believe, and remind myself often...that lives’s greatest lessons are usually learned
at the worst times and from the worst mistakes

In the presence of many, your absence is the only wound I feel.

This I believe...You are an extraordinary and most beautiful soul...I love your innocence...your ability to see the good in everyone...and your sweet sensitive goodness...I am so blessed to have met you...and Lit is blessed to have an amazing kind and gracious soul here...:heart::heart:

If you want to end up with a little bit of a woman's love . . . . . . the surest way is to start with a lot of it.
This I believe.

Until you know what you want, you’ll never be happy with what you have.

On the flip side....if you don't know what you have? How do you truly know what you want?

Keep it coming man, this crazy world needs good thinks like you

A mistake is not a mistake, but a learning opportunity, It only becomes a mistake when you don't learn from it...This l believe.

I have been thinking about this today...

I truly believe that when you love someone, you always will love them on some level. That each deep love you've had in your life claims a piece of your heart and will always live there...the good ones and the bad ones. There is always love there...

This I believe.....

Be kind to one another, even strangers. You have no idea what your kindness could do for someone on the edge. It can make all the difference in the world and you may never know it.

Should someone offer you a kindness or nice remark, pay it forward. And return the favor.

Be nice to people on your way up, there's a chance that you'll meet them on your way back down.
