I heard the that BMX XXX game play was built off of the Dave Mirra engine, and that Mirra was going to attach himself to the game, but pulled out (no pun intended) for obvious reasons.

Hey Eagle, have you ever played Devil May Cry? It kind of sounds like it'd be right up your alley. It's pure action...and you kill demonic zombie puppet things. It really is a cool game and I can't wait for the second one out at the end of January. You can shoot in two directions at once and run on walls...badass.
Oh...and Shinobi is on my Christmas list The new Contra too.

Actually, Meirra (or however the heck ya spell his name) didn't pull out, the company sponsering him wouldn't back him if he backed the game, they basically wouldn't allow him to attach his name to the game. Also i don't think it's Dave Meirra who's name was gonna be attached, but his bro's name instead.

Either way... it's not on there, and the game itself might rock, the people who do buy it will be buying it for the nudity, nuff said. (Until word gets around if it IS actually good... then people will flock to by it, and we'll be turning away teenage kids who want to get their rocks off, pesky teenagers)

I'm lovin this.. My video baseball team is really hitting a hot streak! Winners of the last 6, beating da Cubs again 11-3.

The only thing lacking from that agme is the shot of people on Wayland Ave fighting for the baseball after one of my guys knocks it out of the yard.

BMX XXX will be partially censored for PS2.

DMC was great, but awfully short and with a stupid story. Let's hope they fix that with the sequel.

Wow, yeah, the thread has died down...i blame Cibo and LT for this, that damn "X-Box live" convo went on way too long...ya bastards!!!!

I see "Dead to Rights" is getting ported over onto the PS2...guess it isnt Xbox exclusive anymore...looks like wicked fun, i'm gonna have to try it out. my game list is growing now, from Bloodrayne to Shinobi to Dead to Rights, and this game called Gun Grave i wanna try out...this christmas is gonna be a huge game one for me, lol.

BloodRayne looks good, Hitman2 didn't look so bad. I'll have to hit Electronic Boutique this week and see if I can scrounge up and good deals. Of course I have to find some time to play them...

My last final for school is December 7th, so after that its just work until school kicks up again, so i should have tons of time to play, but hell, i need to beat Vice City first. i cant leave a game unbeaten, although i used to all the time when i had my old Nintendo, lol.

I don't leave them unbeaten... just unplayed... I still have about 9 playstation games in the wrapper still. Xenogears and the such, becuase of the time involved in playing them. So I been sticking with some good old Madden 2003 for the X-box. I need to have a few days when I can just play sit and play a game as long as I want.

So I went to my local Blockbuster to rent Ghost Recon and Mech Assault and they didn't have either one in yet. Damn them!

I'm considering going for a PS2 now... too many good games I don't wanna miss out on now.

I'm thinking of doing this deal:

PS2 - £169.99
Smackdown 4 - £24.99 (-£20 for the special deal we have)
Kingdom Hearts - £29.99 (-£10 for the same deal)
Ratchet & Clank - £29.99 (-£10 again, same deal)
Extra controller - £19.99
Memory Card - £27.99

Total - £302.94

Yup, pricey it may be... however, if I can save up that amount of cash from X-Mas, plus from trading in my PSX, it's a good deal.

Also I'll get cash off, 10% off hardware (£17 roughly off for that) 30% off software (£25.47 off there) and £20 off perephrials (sp?) (so £9.60 there), so I'll get a total discount of - £52.10... meaning the entire PS2 price would be roughly £250, that's not a bad deal considering what I'll be getting with it .

Of course... if the PS2 didn't have so many games I wanted, I'd just buy an X-Box with one game (not sure on the game yet) as I'd get that entire package for £179.98 before my discount .

Okay... I'm rambling here, just wanted to kinda, I dunno, show off my lovely discounts .

Yup, Metroid Prime looks cool. It's a shame that I never did get into the original when I was a kid. I knew the Justin Bailey code then (can't get it to work now though!!!) - and would go beat it from there, but never did play it through from the start.

In other news, the Zelda game coming out will feature a bonus disc if you pre-order in japan. It'll include a few demos from other games, but will feature both The Ocarina of Time and Ura Zelda - the fabled 64DD add on that they were working on. Sounds very cool - since Zelda 64 was quite a treat.

He he he. A buddy of mine called me up a week after getting Vice City and commanded me to get a PS2. He's lost sleep playing the game, which I find hilarious. I must admit the PS2 does have the best titles out for it right now. If I had to get a current-gen system, it'd be that. Except I could never sell my soul, so I'll pass.

X-Box. Please. You have Halo and TJ&E3 - which they better not mess up, and then what? (If I intended to play online, then maybe.)

GC? I do like Mario, but need to be floored by Zelda and Prime to be sold on that system.

In the mean time, I'll be waiting for Golden Sun 2. My save data in the first game is getting antsy.
