LT, my PS2, which i've had for about 5 months now, has frozen up on me once, just yesterday. thats it, once in five months, i think thats a pretty good track record.

How about we end this discussion, huh? I mean, bickering over which system is the best...who gives a flying fuck? As long as you can play your games, and enjoy them, thats all that matters. for the most part, except for the few exclusive games out there, we can all play the same ones. so lets rejoyce in our similarities!!!

Now, lets change the subject, huh? BMX XXX comes out in a bit...brings up the whole nudity in games thing...what does everyone think of it? cheap ploy to get people to buy games? does it serve ANY purpose?

I think it's just a ploy, but hell, it's working. My brother and his friends are overjoyed about it. I guess it's like watching hentai(sp) on the whole cartoon nudity thing. *shrugs*

BMX XXX... I think it's a sad excuse for a game but lets be honest.. this kind of game where there is nudity was bound to hit shelves. I think it's just a very cheap ploy to get people (re: pre-teens who get turned on by the sight of video boobies) to buy what looks to be a lame BMX game.

Other gaming news:

It's nice to see some game publishers get ALL the freekin details right. Playing Acclaim's All Star Baseball 2003 tonight.. I played my first game in Wrigley Field (I created a team based in Edmonton and have been playing a season.. this was my first chance to play the Cubs) At any rate, after hitting a home run (with pitcher Roy Halliday no less.. he was 0 for 21 before that homer) they showed the ball being "thrown" back onto the field!

That's classic!! Big props to Accliam for that detail!

I'll have to agree, I've worked 2 days since that game came out and I've only sold one copy. I do believe it was a 16 year old too. With the holidays coming up and all we are pretty busy at work, that game isn't a huge seller and we didn't receive a lot of them.

I don't think it will do well.

I do have to brag a bit more about that game against the Cubs. I won 9-0. Halliday had a great day as he went the full nine innings scattering 7 hits and striking out 10. Roy also went 3 for 4 with a homerun and two RBI's.

Looks like the video Cubs could use a new manager as well.

Yesterday I returned the modem router I had been borrowing the last two months from a friend because I plan on buying one for myself tommorow. In the mean time I can't get online by just doing a straight connection.

Sorry about bashing the Xbox. If you're happy with your console, and I'm happy with mine, can't we all just get along?

Lion, just so ya know, I wasn't arguing what the actual stats of the consoles are, just remember, the consoles graphics and stuff, while perhaps the console can do a lot with them... are only useful if the companies push it.

Anyways, I've said all along it's the games that make a system, not how powerful the system is (well... except the Jaguar... which idiot designed that things telephone pad? )

Now... about BMX XXX, did you know that one of the Mierra brothers was actually going to put his name to that game? Also our Manager at GAME has seen it running, and he says that the gameplay itself looks pretty damned solid.

Of course, I have a feeling that us Brits must love our pr0n more than you Americans, as we've had loads of people asking about it, and even half my co-workers are getting a copy of the game, heh. Gotta love that doncha? hehe.
