You're the queen babe:heart:

Ok, hows this one? I got GI Joe the movie on DVD, and they have EVERY single one of those announcements. I'm watching it with my buddy Jeff, and we're just reliving our childhood. So these kids are out in a snowstorm, and like one falls into a snowdrift or something. You hear a Joe's voice, and see this guy in like artic gear. The kid that isnt in the snowdrift looks up and goes...

"SNOWJOB!"

Snowjob. I didnt stop laughing for the rest of the day. Who names a guy SNOWJOB!?

ROFL

Snowjob that's great!!

Snowjob: "Remember ladies, when going down on your man he may not like it spit back into his mouth"

Ladies: "Thank you Snowjob, now we know"

Snowjob: "And knowing is half the battle"

:D

G.I. Joe was some wicked good times. I loved that damn show. What i loved the most was that Barbeque, the firefighter from Boston, talked like he was a Kennedy. He sounded like a mix of JFK, RFK, and good ol Ted all rolled into one. NO ONE AROUND HERE SOUNDS LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking that the vid. game companies would clean house if they tapped into the nostalgia effect. i mean, with Contra coming out, can an old-schol game revolution be far behind?!

And i want an X-Men game that was like the old arcade game. i wanna BUY the old arcade game, it was the most fun i've ever had with a game, playing that in an arcade.

If a bunch of old-school games come back I'll be in heaven. I remember playing a game on my old comador 64 when i was like, 5. I believe they remade the game basically when they made Monster Rancher.

Whenever I went to the arcade I'd play Street Fighter. :D I'm all about whoopin ass in a game. I think that's why I like KH so much. You don't just stand there and choose to attack, you actually attack. You control where the guy goes and where he hits. I feel like I had more to do with the fight that way.

Pezzie, have you ever been to Lemon's C-64 site?

http://www.lemon64.com/

They have emulators, and all the classic C-64 games for your enjoyment. :)

I feel the same way, i always look around for some mindless head bashing when it comes to a game. Thats why i think i'll like Bloodrayne so much. A vampire killing Nazi's, thats so cool.

I went to the arcades once in a blue moon, and it was always X-Men that took all my quarters. God, so much fun. I'd always be Colossus too. Man, that was such an awesome game. Honestly, if anyone can find me a used one, i will buy it, no questions asked. Such a great game.

The last time i went to an aracade was my senior year of highschool, we went to this place called the Good Times emporium...it had tons of new arcade games, i remember playing some Zombie game...it RULED. When i finally turn 21, i'm gonna go to Jillians, this bar/arcade that has some rediculas games. Thats gonna be a good time

Thanks Bob! :D

There is a bar in Chicago called Dave and Buster's that is like that. I haven't gone yet but I REALLY want to!! Nothin like drinkin and playing video games. heh

There aren't really many arcades around here anymore, I'm rather disappointed.

See, my two best friends and i are total video game junkies, and myself and my buddy Jeff turn 21 within a month of each other, while my friend pat turns 21 some 7 months later...we'll sneak him in though. Drinking and videogames...we;ll, we do that now, but doing it in a bard, THAT's gonna be awesome.

I'm trying to find an arcade emulator so i can get that X-Men game on my comp...come on...other people must have loved that game as much as me!!

Which X-Men game?

have you tried arcadeathome.com ? I know they have emulators. I'm not sure about X-Men though.

And I absolutely LOVE the X-Men. I took one of those quizes to find out which character I'd be, and they said I'd be Mystique. :D

And here is a great source also....

Do you have Cartoon Network?
yep, if you do have it and have a decent cable operator you should be able to get boomerang (brand new network) all it is is old cartoons (60-later 70's) most of the time, saturday morning they do years or themes like last week was scooby do, before it was like 1976 it's great, haven't seen thundercats yet but i'm patiently waiting. they do run thundarr the barbarian though, ooklar it my man

Thank you Bob, i went and downloaded an emulator, and i'm now downloading my x-men game!! WHOO-HOO!!!

Pezzie, you rock, all girls should be as cool as you.

I've fallen out of the groove with the X-Men latley...things just suck, i liked the old 90's yellow and blue spandexed team. That was WICKED fun back then. Now, its all just sucky. Colossus was my BOY, and they went and killed him off. It sucks. It all just SUCKS!!!

Edited to add that yes, the GI JOE dvd does infact rule, as the best part is easily when Duke is near death, and his last words are YO Joe...so touching...<sniff sniff>

It's on the very first Dance Dance Revolution game that was released in Europe around two years ago....I have it. Computer Exchange in Tottenham Court Road will probably have it. And I bought the dance mat cheap in Hong Kong too! :D

I'm sure you can download the song off Kazaa or something.

Hehe, never heard of that... and there's no way of getting it in GAME (I work there, hehe). However I do know officially that DDR WILL be getting released soon (not sure of the date yet, haven't looked).

On the subject of the Teenage Mutant HERO Turtles (Hero for the cartoon, Ninja for the films, at least it wa sin England, and I'll stick to that :p). This is who was which colour, and used what weapon:

Leonardo - Blue Bandana - Swords
Donatello - Purple Bandana - Sticks
Michaelangelo - Orange Bandana - Nunchucks
Raphael - Red Bandana - Daggers

Yes, I know, it's sad :p.

As for the NES Turtles game... that's the same as the Amstrad one I think, and if I still had it... I'd load it up and could tell you exactly where you needed to go (I'm guessing the van section was this top down, badly looking graphical section).

But still... the game sucked more than Monica Lewinsky. Soooo... ;)

Every time I'm at the arcade I ALWAYS sink at least $2.00 into that game. Coloussus kicks total ass.

On the topic of "impossable to beat games" Super Smash TV for the SNES kicked total ass, and believe me, you had no fawkin chance in hell of beating that game. 1 or 2 player it's still impossable, but o so fun.

I think I beat it back in the day by myself Tap...

And Duke didn't die...he just went into a coma. *sniff*

Bob, i need your help. i cant get my mame emulator to work. this sucks, i dont know what i'm doing wrong here. i downloaded my game and everything, and this shit just aint workin
