I am so out of the loop with video games, but my faves were....

Elemental Gearbolt for the original PSX

and

Panzer Dragoon for the Sega Saturn

Can anyone relate?

The only games i'm really looking forward to right now are Vice City and Devil May Cry 2. I mean, c'mon, Dante can run along walls Shinobi style. thats just TOO awesome!!!

I'm thinking of picking up RE: Code Veronica...i'm i WICKED sap for zombies. There's some game for XBox with zombies in it...that's "x box exclusive" or something, which pisses me off hardcore. Ah well, can't win 'em all i guess.

I think i'm gonna pick up BloodRayne or whatever it's called for PS2, i can't think of anything better than a "hot" female vamp killing Nazi's and stuff.

DMC didnt capture my attention,I hope DMC 2 will be better.

I still think that with RE0's new no box play,it will be harder to get through.

I just thought DMC was wicked awesome, with the whole sword aspect of it, and Dante's a demon for the love of God....i just think thats so cool.

And what do you mean about the "no box play"? I'm not quite following...

From what I read,there will be no boxes in this Re,you will be able to lay down where ever you wish the items you pick up. But you have to remember where you put the stuff.

Oh man, that sucks!!! I guess its going to be alot harder, cause now you have two players to control/"keep alive" at the same time, which will be rough. I can't wait until they finally make the impossible game, which no one will ever beat. cause that's what the deveolpers seem to be trying to achieve

I think that 2 players is too much,but they didnt listen to my input.

I dont know if they will ever make an unbeatable game,with gameshark out and about.

I used to fire up my old Nintendo and pop in Tecmo Super Bowl, which is one of the greatist football games ever. Its so diesle, seriously. That and Contra. I could play Contra all day

PC gaming

Myself... I'm a PC-game junky. I have mostly played first-person-shooters... starting with Quake 1, 2, ActionQuake2, Unreal Tournament, Delta Force : Land Warrior, and now Tribes 2 is my game of choice. I saw that UT 2003 was coming out - I gotta check that out sometime soon. There's nothing like being able to play competitively online with up to 60 others... Even on a dialup (44k, usually around 280 ping), I can still pretty much hold my own. ;-)

I also like computer-based RPG's... I played Diablo 1, Fallout 1 (demo), and most recently Baldur's Gate. BG takes FOREVER, though... I've played that for a total of like 2 weeks (combined time) and wasn't even through the first game... much less the TOSC discs... are they supposed to take that long?? I dunno... lol

Couldn't tell if it was specifically mentioned before... but anyone know of (or recommend) any adult PC games, and where to buy them? I've seen the "Leisure Suit Larry" series, but that just seemed "adult-oriented"... I'd like it to be a little more graphic and realistic... Just curious as to what's out there...

Definatly!! It is the best RPG I have played in a long while!

One other thing. I swear I will go out and buy any system that comes out with an EA or 989 NLL (National Lacrosse League) game that is NOTHING like Blast Lacrosse for the PSX. If one of those sport game gods were to come out with an actual NLL game I would buy whatever system it was released on for the sole purpose of owning the NLL game.

Another good link is www.classicgaming.com. It has emulators ( programs to make your computer behave like the original gaming system), and ROMS (the actual game files). It's pretty cool... I liked finding the old Commodore IIc games I used to play... and the game TRON from the arcades... that is one of my FAVORITES!

Change of subject slightly (as I'm still not up on all these new games... even on the PC I can't play some of the new stuff, i.e. Neverwinter Nights *cries*).

Anyone here ever play the original Bloody Roar on the PSX? Now that was a game worth playing time and time again.

I haven't played the orignal BR but I played the Gamecube demo for the latest one (4 or 3 I'm not entirely sure) and it's a button masher's dream come true. I was this bad ass chic and I button mashed and I ended up doing this insane 14 hit kick to the head combo. It didn't kill the person but it took a nice little chunk out of their life bar. It's a fun game (from what i've seen).
