See, this is what I'm talking about. And so far as RE online goes, that game is scheduled to come out on PS2 so far...and not GC. So I'll be turning you all into zombies

Tis not easy getting me bud.

I dont care what platform it comes on as long as its a good game.

I have all of the final fantasies,including the ones on the first gameboy and the original nintendo. But not the japanese versions,I aint paying more that I have to.

I've actually only played Final Fantasy 7-10. I never owned a super nintendo, and the first FF is incredibly hard to find anymore, though I'd love to play it. I bought Chronicles and Anthology...but never played them for some reason. I should go do that sometime.
I've played Deus Ex for PS2, and it's a pretty cool game. Fun fact: It was modeled after the role playing game Shadowrun

Yup, I actually say FF8 was the best so far, but then so far I've only played 7, 8, 9 & 6 (well... they call it 6, I got a rom for it online and it was called 3 like it is in Japan).

But on another point, can I just say, my mate has lent my Red Alert 2 for the PC, and that is EXCELLENT, I got fed up of the Red Alert series after a 6 month run of link up sessions with my mate where I just burnt out the will to ever touch the C&C/Red ALert series again...

But I'll be damned, this game is worth playing, and playing for a long time .

Now someone mentioned they rented games... all very well, until you get a game of the calibur of something like Smackdown 2 which has replayablity written all over it, when it comes to multiplayer, that game is excellent.

Same goes for Doom on the PSX if you could get a link up game going, (same goes for the PC version). There is not a single game in the world that beats a great two player on Doom, it always intense, because you HAVE to use strategy all the time, unlike Unreal Tourny where you can realistically fire and pray, on Doom you can't, you have to make sure you know what you're going to do *cough*BFG trick*cough* .

Has anyone in here given "Kessen" for the PS2 a go? I seen the back of the game box, and read an article in a game mag and it sounds pretty freakin sweet. Can anyone either confirm or deny this?

yea that was really proper, i love GTA3, Omnimusha:warlords, NBA street, and of course Smackdown:Just Bring It, i cant wait till i can get Shut Your Mouth, and also how can i forget *SLAP!* Tekken 4

i used to be really good at counter strike online haven't played in a while

playing UT2003 mostly now (finished it though) also have hitman 2 and i finished mafia that was really cool

Hate to say it, but SD:JBI was worse than SD2... I played both, and the only thing SD:JBI had over 2, was graphics... *shrugs*

I'm a PS2 junkie...i only own two games, NCAA 2003 and NBA Street, but i'm constantly renting. GTA3 and Devil May Cry have been the two games i've rented the most...beat Devil May Cry, took me two weeks, and GTA3 is just fuckin awesome. Cant wait to buy Vice City.

I'm disapointed by the lack of zombie games on PS2 though...just one resident evil, whereas gamecube has two (the original, and the upcoming RE 0) I havent played Code Veronica yet...any advice on that?

I'm afraid if you want Resident Evil, you have to go Ninty, they have exclusive rights to the Resi games now, so they wont be appearing on any other console.

But the more important thing is where the best wrestling games are, and also... what Sonic is up to (yup, I'm a BIG Sonic fan, one of my greatest games was Sonic Adventure, especially the music in that game )

I hate the control for the PS2 wrestling games...i had No Mercy and Wrestlemania 2000 for N64, and loved the control scheme. it'd be the only reason i'd buy a gamecube, but when i weighed the options, the bigger library of the PS2 won out. I mean, if the new Zelda was anything like what i've been used to on N64, i might've been swayed, but Zelda looks way way WAY too cartoony for my tastes. Even a game like Mario couldnt turn me. Gotta be the PS2.
