The Underworld

Asha nodded at David's choice. "Okay, your beta." She laughed hoping that later he didn't change his mind and want to become Alpha. This was going to be tricky. Everyone is going to want to kill her to become the new Alpha. They'll view her as weak. She sighed this had to be done. "Sorry Antwon." Than she plunged her hands into his body pulling out his intestines. She marred his body making him look like he was tortured before finally being killed.

Asha push video on her phone and placed it down so it could record her and everything. "Antwon is dead. I am the new Alpha of the north east of the united states. My Beta," Asha nodded for David to come into the shot, "stepped in, but it was I who killed the alpha. I who am the true Alpha. I know many of you won't believe this. You will come after me."

Asha went to Antwon's body showing his tortured flesh to the camera. She twisted his head around, then tore it from his body. She placed it on her bookshelf like a trophy. "I relish the fun you will bring me." Her face got dark, mean, conniving. "I will love to add more heads to my trophy collection. Come and get me."

She pressed stop on her phone. Before she slump. She had been terrified, but she hoped that stopped anyone else from thinking she was easy pickings. She then pressed the number 9 on her phone. The phone clicked like someone picked up but no one answer. "I have a problem in my room. I need it disposed of where no one will find it. Burned is preferred. I will double your payment if you can guarantee there will be no trace left behind." There was a pause.

"Done," came a deep voice on the other end. "2 hours." The phone clicked dead.

"Come on we need to leave so the Cleaner can get rid of this mess." Asha pulled David to his feet, went to her purse, and pulled out 20 $100 dollar bills. She laid them on the table and pulled David out of her apartment. "We need to go meet the pack and show them this." She held up her phone.

She did well once she had his gun, quickly shooting both wolves down.

"I did NOT need your help. And before you insist that I did, I don't. I was just caught off guard, I could've kicked the the big bad wolf and grabbed my gun. Using yours was just easier."

While she glared at him he looked down at the cut he had received on his chest,

"Stupid puppy ruined my suit" he said under his breath and took it off. Then he looked back up at Dianna.

"I knew it would be easier with my gun, that is why I gave it to you." He said as he moved towards her "now can I have it back please?"

He didn't fight her, there was no need, inside she knew that she had needed his help, that she might have died without him there, it was almost fun how she refused to admit it.

He seemed to be more consumed with the blood on his suit then her words, which pissed her off. She wanted to scream at the top of her lungs that she did not need him but she knew that would make her look childish. She wasn't sure why but this guy, no...vampire totally got up under her skin and the fact that his prescence made her vampiric side want to come out and play (which didn't happen around other vampires) bugged the hell out of Dianna.

Even at this moment, her vampiric side wanted to thank him in a whole bunch of different naughty ways. Thankfully, Dianna was stronger than that.

"I knew it would be easier with my gun, that is why I gave it to you. Now can I have my gun back please."

"With pleasure." Dianna retorted, before dropping the gun on the ground in front of him. She glanced behind her just to make sure there wasn't any other dogs wanting to come out and play. "I should probably get back to my dorm, its late and like I said, I have class. Besides, Tori is probably worried to death about me. Are we finished yet?"

Dianna needed to get out of there. She needed to get back to her dorm where she could make her vampiric side lay dormant for awhile.

"For someone so self-sufficient you should know not to throw guns on the ground" He replied calmly and picked his gun up and stashed it back.

"You are probably right, we should head back it is getting late, I'll walk you there"

He said and walked once more towards her, she could keep fighting it, but soon the instincts of her vampiric side would be too much... besides probably the empath knew how to calm it down, and right now he wanted her wild.

Dianna felt like a drug addict right now. She was on edge, like she'd just had a taste of cocaine and than had to go cold turkey without it. "I don't need you to walk me home." Dianna said stubbornly, despite the fact that her vampire side wanted to come and play she still had that uneasy feeling around Raphael. Maybe her slayer senses decided to kick in and tell her that this was a very, very bad vampire.

She wasn't sure.

She stepped back as he stepped closer to her. "So uh, thanks for the help that was so clearly not needed." She said, grasping her stake. This time if he kissed her, she'd be certain to stab him for real this time. There was no 'ands', 'ifs', or 'buts' about it. He would die if he tried anything again.

"I didn't say you need to be walked home, I said I was coming with you."

Well at least she had said thanks, when she grabbed the stake he smiled, that was because she wanted him away from her, but not because she feared him... it was because she feared herself when she was close.

Now, if he was right she wouldn't be able to stab him, she was the daughter of someone that was under his orders, this made would make her submissive to him, and the only reason she wasn't already putty in his hands was because her hard headed... or strong willed, mother had passed on that trait to her, still she had been fighting her vampire side all of her life, and now it was rising, she couldn't completely deny those instincts... now it was time to test his theory.

"Against which vampire are you holding that stake? you or me?" He took a step closer to her "I don't think it's against me" he took another step, always making sure to slightly corner her. "What's more I don't think you'll use it..." He ended that sentence with a quick movement, closing the distance between them, taking her in his arms and once more kissing her hard, this time however he didn't plan to break the kiss, he had something to prove to her.

"I didn't say you need to be walked home, I said I was coming with you."

Dianna rolled her eyes. "Well, maybe I don't want you to walk me home. I'm a big girl, I don't need nor want the help of a vampire." She said, her hand still clutching the stake in case he decided to be slick. Her heart was beating incredibly fast and the vampire inside of her roared to be let free, to serve its mast---Whoa, whoa...fuck no!

"Against which vampire are you holding that stake? you or me?"

Dianna gasped and looked up at him. How did he know she was a vampire? God, she knew he had figured it out she was just hoping that she was wrong. It had to have been when he kissed her because that was the only time any signs of her vampire side had been shown.

"You." She stated, but he didn't look convinced. As he stepped closer to her, she stepped back this time bumping into the exact tree she had pushed him into earlier.

"I don't think it's against me"

"W-well, you're wrong. Now, if you'll excuse me." She said, glaring at him before trying to slip past him but since he was full vampire and she was only a halfling, he was much quicker and blocked every way she tried to slip by.

"What's more I don't think you'll use it..."

Before she had a chance to respond, he kissed her. The kiss was deep and intense. She tried using as much of her slayer side to push him away, even using her vampire side she tried like she had done last time. Her resistance seemed useless though because this time he was using all of his strength against her and was admittedly stronger.

Her eyes flickered that bright yet pale yellow before she closed her eyes and tried to gain control, but it happened over and over again. Her vampire half was trying to take control. She pulled the stake out of her pocket and pressed it against his chest. Her hands were shaky and her emotions were starting to swirl out of control.

While she wanted to kill him, for some odd reason Dianna kept holding back. She pushed the stake deeper towards his skin, making sure he could at least feel the point but couldn't push it all the way. It was like her vampire side was resisting the urge to kill.

He felt the stake, and sensed her resistance, yet he also felt her predicament, and how she seemed unable to kill him, he decided to push it even further, his hands went to her sides and begun to caress her body, knowing that the lust would also appeal directly to her vampiric side.

There was something else he did though, somethign that showed how sure of her inabilty to kill him was, he pressed his own chest against the stake even hurting himself slightly with it.

An evil smile came to his face as he remained existing, and he kept kissing her, deeply and demanding, putting the pent up passion into it, he had been holding back from pinning her down since they had met again after all.

Her body roared with hunger, no not her body. Her vampiric side, it craved the touch of another vampire. This was not good, not good at all. His hands slid down her body and her grip on the stake began to slowly loosen only to feel him push his body against the stake as if he knew she couldn't kill him.

A low growl could be heard which emitted from her. It was not a growl of hunger or lust, but of anger. She was angry that he was proving how wrong she was. Not only was he proving her wrong but his kiss seemed to get deeper and more intense. The longer the kiss lasted, the more her resistance began to fall.

Just one little kiss, please. Then I'll go back into hiding, I swear! her vampire side begged and pleaded.

NO! her slayer side screamed. He's a vampire, a full blooded...or unblooded vampire. The stake was still pressed tightly against his white shirt but hadn't actually done any damage. If she could push it a little further to scare him into thinking that she'd go through with killing him, that'd be great.

When she was a kid, she used to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer and she remembered one episode where Buffy had killed Angel to protect herself and her friends by kissing him and then staking his ass.

So do it!

She pushed the stake as if tempting her any further until the point of the stake had ripped through his shirt and was now touching his skin.

Don't tempt me vampire. She telepathically thought to him. Well, that was odd. She didn't know she could communicate with vampires mentally. She'd never been able to do that before. My stake is poking your skin, do you want to die? Release me, now!

He was surprised of suddenly be getting her thoughts in his mind, he never heard of half blooded vampires being able to do that, however that wasn't good for her... it only showed him how strong her vampiric side really was. He wasn't going to budge now.

"I have been tempting you for a while slayer, if you were going to kill me you would have already done it"

His hands moved down, to her hips and he pulled, pulled her body towards him so that she could feel his bulge, she wanted her to feel to know what effect she had on him.

"Do it if you are going to do it, kill me... do it or admit to yourself that you want me here"

Dianna was scared, she was so scared. She was scared because her hands were sweaty now. She was losing grip of her stake and had to keep clamping her hand around it tightly. She was stronger than this, she was much much stronger than this. Where the hell was Tori? Hadn't she noticed that Di was gone and that it was late. Hello! Didn't Tori think that maybe she needed her friend?

And try as she might, she couldn't force the stake into his chest. It wasn't that Dianna wasn't trying, she was trying and everytime she nearly pushed it into his skin, she pulled back. The stake fell to the ground with a clank, her defenses slowly shredding to pieces once more. Her eyes flickered a pale yellow.

Now was the moment to push him away, if she could. While her vampire side was out. It wanted to play, fine. She'd let it play, just not in the way it wanted to play. Another low growl emitted from her lips as she grabbed hold of his shirt and slowly as much as she tried not to her lips began responding to the kiss. Her vampire seemed sated, for the moment and slowly recoiled and let her slayer side take over.

She pushed him away, this time backing up and blinking a few times. "Stay the fuck away from me. I mean it!"

He felt the struggle and rejoiced in it, each time he felt the pull of the stake move back and forth, he knew she was having trouble... and her troubles were only starting.

Then it happened, the vampire side won... for now, and she kissed him back, he could taste the victory in that brief time that she spent kissing him back, soon however she was able to muster up the strenght to push him away... which was way easier than stake him.

"Stay the fuck away from me. I mean it!"

"We'll meet again Dianna"

He smiled evilly and decided to show her how bad her instincts had screwed her up.

"Specially now that we can reach other like this... sleep well Dianna"

After that he turned and begun to walk away into the night.

David Burn

They had to go face a whole group of werewolves? David almost laughed at the idea, he looked around for his shirt, but remembered that Asha had basically ripped it from him. He knew he never left any clothes at Asha's so he had to wing it like he was now, no shirt and all scratched up. He started to laugh and when Asha looked at him he grinned at her and motioned to his shirt.

"I know I look good without a shirt, but just how kinky did you get with me that you tore my jeans as well?"

Still grinning he sat down and pulled on his socks and shoes, he got to his feet, ready to go

"So let's go grab the pack by the ears and make them your bitch"

Asha was scared shitless. She never wanted to be pack and she sure didn't want to be pack leader. How did she get into this mess? Oh yeah. She killed the Alpha. Damn, damn, daaaaaaamn. Asha turned to laughter and stared at David. She laughed at his words as she looked at her own clothing. She was wearing his ripped shirt and little else. She was so in shock she was about to leave her home half naked.

Asha quickly went to her room and pulled on a pair of tight black leather pants, a ripped black shirt with the words F You on them. Than she pulled on knee high boots. She figured she looked imposing and David looking like he had just been in a fight, which he had, also looked intimidating. They looked the part.

"Oh kay. Oh kay. I'll drive."

Asha led down to the parking garage. She climbed into her Red and Black Ashton Martin Vanquish and sped off. The car purred and drove flawlessly. She needed to come to the back in style and to intimidate. She knew the pack wasn't as well off as she was on the verge of poor. Seeing their new Alpha flauting money might help.

They came to a stop and Asha turned to David. "Okay. We're here." She hadn't moved. She stared at the warehouse that was their little base. She would have to change that. The warehouse was spooky.

David Burn

David noticed a few strange looks he got, but he didn't worry really, he was with Asha and for now that was all that mattered. They got into her car and he wanted to caution her about the blood, but by then she was already speeding away.

"Okay. We're here"

She didn't move as she stared at the warehouse...or was that werehouse? David got out and chuckled, he walked around the car and opened the door for her, she looked up and he held his hand for her

"You are Alpha now Asha, yet you remain a lady, taking my hand will not be a sign of weakness"

After a small hesitation she took his hand and got out of the car, she let go as soon as she was standing. David admired how she stood, tall and proud, seemingly ready to take on the world. He looked up at the moon and felt the beast stir, it was easy to suppress as it already had it's time out and was a bit more content now. Asha stepped forward towards the warehouse and he fell into step behind her, walking a pace behind and to her right.

Dianna shook with fear. He was evil, she saw that evil look he gave her when he walked away. She should probably go home now. Yes, home was good. Home was very, very good. Shakily she lifted her hand and ran it through her hair. Oh god, what was she gonna do? No vampire that she'd ever fought knew that she was part vampire and for some reason this vampire brought out her vampire senses.

Why?

Go find out

No, why should she go find out? Whenever she was near him she lost all control and Di hated not being in control. Dianna thrived on being in control. She craved being in control, her whole life had been about control. Of course, she'd never really known how to control her vampire side and maybe, just maybe he'd know how to keep it tampered down.

Exactly!

Wait, no! Why would her vampire side even agree to that? That didn't make sense.

Dianna hadn't realized that she had begun walking in the direction that Raphael had walked until it was too late and before she could stop herself her lips parted. "WAIT!"

Damn it to hell. She was so totally screwed.

Asha stared at the warehouse dreading this moment. She didn't want to walk in there. She was almost sure that they were all in the freaking warehouse. Meeting. Trying to find out the last place their Alpah went, who would kill him, and how to kill them. In essence she was walking towards her own funeral. Her door opened and she looked up to see David. With some encourage she let him help her out of the car.

For a moment she just stood there. She knew by now they had to figure out the car they heard had stopped and someone was getting out. She walked towards the werehouse and the door opened. It was the punk pup and he waved her in with a sigh. "Ya felt it? Our Alpha is dead."

Asha had to bite back the retort, 'He wasn't my Alpha'. Otherwise she would have to explain why she was here and she wasn't ready for that yet. "Who's he," The pup asked. Asha turned towards David than looked back to the pup. "I'll explain in a bit. Is everyone here?" The pup nodded explaining there were a few out and will be in shortly.

Asha walked into the room to see the warehouse filled from wall to wall with weres. She sighed and stepped through the crowd. Most moved out of her way thinking she was the Alpha's girlfriend and deserved the respect. Others moved because other let her go through. She had made it to the front and that's what mattered.

Asha stood looking at the weres who wondered what she was doing. Finally she spoke. "Antwon is dead. I killed him." Immediately there was a loud uproar, grumbles, and she saw a few brute weres who took steps towards her. She turned on her phone, turned up the volume, and pushed play. Weres have excellent vision and the ones who couldn't see could hear. When the video was over it was completly quiet.

"By his death I claim all that is his. This is my new Beta, David." Asha hoped David knew what he was doing. He would be challenged for that spot alone. Plus he had to take care of her. It was maddening. Asha held her breath for a moment before letting it out. "Is there any who reject me? If so leave now. You will have 48 hours to leave my region before I hunt you down and kill you as rouges."

A few moved to go to the door. By the time they realized no one was following only one actually stepped to the door. He waited for a moment and decided to stay. "Good. My first rule is that this is no longer our home. This can be a discrete base, but this is not a home. In 3 days time I expect everyone to be ready to move."

"Where," someone asked.

"I haven't decided it. But they'll be enough room for all of you, along with any new babies, and acres upon acres of free land and woods." Asha heard murmurs of excitement. Good they liked that plan. "My second rule is that no more treating women like punching bags. No more domestic violence. We are a pack. We travel as a pack. We live as a pack. Any problems they go to my Beta and if he can't figure out a solution he'll bring them to me. Also no more turning humans or eating humans. They are not food." There were a few grumbles, but nothing too bad.

"I will send David back with supplies for moving." Asha stepped down and there was a new roar. The whole warehouse vibrated with the voices. Asha tipped her head back and joined.

"WAIT!"

He heard her scream, and it surprised him, he thought that she would be desperate to get him away, even if her vampire side seemed to want him close.

He turned around "Yes Dianna? is there anything I can do for you?"

He walked back towards her, his eyes daring to look lustily at her body, after their last kiss his self control was slightly wavering, still he could keep control of himself.

Dianna seriously believed she was losing her mind. She must've been because no matter what he was a vampire, a fucking vampire. She was a slayer, so what if she was half vampire. She was still a slayer first and foremost. Pushing back that urge to pummel him down and do very very naughty things that even she didn't even want to think about, she cleared her throat.

"Who are you, exactly? I mean...I know your name but who are you? No, strike that, what are you aside from the obvious vampire? Are you of any importance and will there be any need for us to be enemies?" Oh, just because at the moment she couldn't kill him, didn't mean she wouldn't find a way to kill him.

Maybe she could find a witch who could put some sort of binding spell to keep him away from her or something. "Not only that, why should I trust you? Give me one good reason because honestly, for some reason I don't trust you. Call it slayer instincts."

He smiled as she talked, she was showing her indecision while reamining as fiery as always, he wondered what her vampiric side was thinking.

"I thought you already had reasons to trust me Dianna, as much as you refuse to admit it, I helped you with the werewolf who could have hurt you if I didn't give you my gun. I didn't attack you when I managed to approach you from behind silently... or when we were kissing against the tree, and as excited as I was I held myself back from taking it further... for now."

He got closer to her "There is no need for us to be enemies, I certainly hope we don't become that, I'm not a wanton killer, if I kill someone it's only in self defense" while his idea of self-defense was rather ample... he was telling the truth "I want to help you... and I hope you come to trust me."

"Grr, you did NOT help me." Dianna growled, her eyes flashed with anger. As he stepped closer, she moved back because she could feel her vampire side raging when he stepped closer. It wanted to come out and be free again. Ugh, why did she come down here? Why did she chase him down? She saw how dangerous it was. She saw what it did to her.

"I want to help you... and I hope you come to trust me."

"Why do you want to help me? You don't even know me and despite what just happened a few moments ago, I am still a slayer. Killing immortals is in my blood, believe it or not. My great grandmother did it, my grand mother did it, hell my mother did it and ya know what my kids will probably have to be a slayer too. And ya know what my mother killed a billion demons, and werewolves, and and...and vampires before she was killed." she snapped, "without anyones help."

"I want to help you because self-sufficient as you are, you are still inexperienced, if you don't get help things might become too hard for you to handle." He held his hand up before she could interrupt him again "Those slayers you just mentioned... how did they all died?"

He took another step closer to her "Is it so hard to believe that if you took my help your chances of survival would increase? Besides... you just mentioned why you need me, as you said being a slayer is in your blood, but isn't being a vampire too? and as much training and knowledge your mother could have passed on to you... she certainly couldn't help you learn about controlling your vampiric side."

He grabbed her arm so she couldn't move further away his eyes looking into hers "You have been fighting your vampiric side all your life, haven't you? trying to keep it supressed, you might not want my help, but mark my words, at some point that side is going to want to come out and play, it has always wanted too, the desire growing stronger inside you everyday. You have a great willforce but if you don't learn to control it it will overpower you, so you better be prepared."

"I am not--" Dianna started to say but he held his hand up to indicate that he was still speaking. She heaved a loud and irritated sigh indicating that she didn't really want to hear what he had to say but since she did follow him, she really had no choice but to hear him out, did she? When he asked how the other slayers died, she didn't want to respond. "My grandmother was killed by a vampire." She said, not willing to admit that her mother was killed by a werewolf.

He stepped closer to her and she stepped back again, feeling that vampire within her want to break free again. Dianna closed her eyes, Calm the fuck down, you don't even know the guy, he shouldn't be getting you excited like this! Slowly, Dianna opened her eyes again and focused on Raphael's every movement making sure he didn't get too close to her again.

As he stepped closer to her again she tried to move back but this time he grabbed her arm, "HEY, LET ME GO!" She yelled, her vampire senses screamed to be let free. Her eyes flickered a pale yellow, then hazel. "N-no..." she stammered," I let it out to play, when I go out to slay demon, now let me go..." she growled.

"Alright..." he said biting his lip "tell me this and I'll let you go" he went on with his hand still holding her tightly so she wouldn't escape, he knew she just wanted a step back, he wasn't sure why but that probably meant he should keep her closer.

"What does your vampire side want now?" His eyes didn't leave hers, if she lied he would know, besides he doubted her vampiric side would let her.

Tori felt as if her head would split int wo as she tried to crawl up onto the porch...where was all these images and feelings coming from. Dianna needed her,she could feel it gnawing at her stomach, but she couldnt get her body to co-operate. She felt the furred paws around her,the tight grip of the muzzle around her, carrying her. She trembled, the wolf's touch seemed to calm her to a degree.

she felt him lie her down, the rustle of the bushes as he wrapped his furred body around her,his warmth flooding through her, calming her. She reached a small hand out and touched the soft fur under her head. No images bombarded her as she touched him,for once she could touch something alive and not have anything negative overwhelm her. She wrapped her fingers into his fur,her head moved to look into his eyes.

His eyes seemed to bore deep into her,she couldnt look away yet she didnt want to. She lifted her hand and touched his snout softly almost afraid, bracing herself for the images and feelings that didnt come this time. She closed her eyes telling herself she would just lie there for a few minutes as she drifted off safe wrapped in his body.
