Normally, I wake up as late as possible but with enough time to shower and get to class.

Why do I wake up late?
1) I really enjoy sleeping. I do. Ihave great dreams, and I'm warm, and no one bugs me!
2) I'm usually up really late, either studying, or on the phone.
3) I like to wake up to an empty apartment. I'm not someone that likes to have 'extra' people running around in my morning time. Morning time is 'me' time. So I know my roommate's schedules, and I wait for them to leave before I get up.

But today, they all left earlier than usual. So I got out of bed earlier than usual. I showered earlier than usual and got ready for my day earlier than usual. I have ALL THIS TIME on my hands.

So I made French Toast.
And then I cleaned the bathroom.
And then I swept the kitchen and entranceway, and vaccuumed the living room and hallway.
I've emptied and loaded the dishwasher, and done the dishes that were left in the sink.

And I still have time to do some homework, and then go outside to feed the bunnies. :)

(UVic is infested with bunnies).

Don't you just LOVE accomplishing things that you didn't think you'd accomplish?

I usually wake up early, regardless if I was up late at night.
I make myself get up, so I can start my day. I will shower, dress, and eat my breakfast and out the door I go ...

But of course come mid day I am yawning and dying to go to bed.
If time permits I will sneak in a nap. I love my naps !

:)

I usually wake up early. I try to use the time to get the "chores" out of the way - especially on the weekends so that I have the rest of the day to do "fun" stuff.

i'm actually enjoying working nights. i usually don't go to bed untill the sun begins to rise...

Mornings are now for me. After 18 years of getting up with the kids my husband has taken over for me. What a sweetie he is. I get up when I want, shower, feed the zoo and then do just about anything I want. Of course I do the things that have to be done but I get to do them at my own pace. Is this what you call "dancing to your own tune"?
