OK...call me stupid but I just bought two tickets for my 18 yr old who has chosen to pretend that I am no longer her mother to go see her favourite rock star, Matthew Good.

I called my ex to inform him of the date and all I got were negative responses...
YOU are going with her?
Well, I am not sure if she can take the time off work.
Are you sure she wants to see him?

Btw...I thought she would want to take a friend with her...I am sure that they would have much more fun.
How hard can it be to book off ONE night from work?
Duhhh...the girl has been drooling over him for 5 years.

It sort of makes one wonder exactly why she has chosen to disassociate, doesn't it? <shrugs> Oh well...I hope she enjoys the show.

if you bought ME tix for Matt Good I would be your bestest bestest friend ever!!!!

I think that is very considerate of you...the offer is generous and heartfelt no matter what your ex says (and hey if valued his opinion he wouldnt be your ex).

Good parenting on ya. The only tickets i remember getting from my parents were ones to see Mr Dressup at the local library...but, hey...it was in the old Casey and Finnegan days so...
