Praying things work out and your mom likes the place. It's understandable how she feels and it's pride also that can put a damper on things but hopefully she'll like the place and your plan will forge ahead.
Thanks for all your kind words and yes, it's a slow healing process. It can really do a number on one's emotions but I've slowly accepted my new "slow" lifestyle and found ways to do some things in life that I love doing
It helps having a man who puts up with, does things to perk one's spirits up, cares, loves and puts his foot down whenever I get the urge to "do things" that I'm not suppose to or go overboard, hehehe.
I sorely miss everyone and it saddens me to know there is still a lot of pain out there in the world. When we were younger, as children, the world was such a wonderful place. Now that we've grown up we experience, see and hear the "real world" and it causes pain. I pray and hope that all who suffers will find peace and the pain lessens. We are here to help one another and it is under the Tree that we find those who care and are awaiting with open arms.
Spencer has such a big, caring heart and I'm so grateful he's brought back the Tree. I love sitting under the shade with my friends and spending time and trying to help you all as best as I can. I love each and everyone of you and send my hugs (gently) and kisses to you all.
Aloha from humid and hot Hawaii. Can you believe it's already 82 degrees and only 9 am? One of the conditions one has to live in the islands...

Two traveling angels
Thought I'd share this with everyone under the shade of the Tree...
Two traveling angels
Keep reading to the bottom of the page -- don't stop at the feet
(You'll see).
Two traveling angels stopped to spend the night
in the home of a wealthy family.
The family was rude and refused to let the angels
stay in the mansion's guest room.
Instead the angels were given a small space in
the cold basement.
As they made their bed on the hard floor, the
older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it.
When the younger angel asked why, the older angel
replied,
"Things aren't always what they seem."
The next night the pair came to rest at the house
of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his
wife.
After sharing what little food they had the couple
let the angels sleep in their bed where they could
have a good night's rest.
When the sun came up the next morning the angels
found the farmer and his wife in tears.
Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole
income, lay dead in the field.
The younger angel was infuriated and asked the
older angel how could you have let this happen?
The first man had everything, yet you helped him,
she accused.
The second family had little but was willing to
share everything, and you let the cow die.
"Things aren't always what they seem," the older
angel replied.

Since the owner was so obsessed with greed and
unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the

Shadow, keep hanging on. I know it is a slow and long process, and I hope things will be better soon. Just hang on.
To everyone else, thanks. I have a good report. Mom is going to do it. It will be a 6 month or sooner list. However there are some very serious money issues and I am working on that and taking things over. Anyway, I have a lot of work ahead of me. But again thanks for all of your prayers and thoughts.
And man is it hot here... I had forgotten how bad the south is in the summer. With the heat index we have been up to 110-115. YUCK!

today i just find out that i lost my SSD and SSI benefits. i don't know what to do and i'm not sure i'd get them back if a appeal. i'm seriously thinking about suicide......better to be dead. i can't get a job because i haven't any skills, no transportation, no ability to hold down a job because my anxiety gets the best of me. i knew something like this would happen......it's better if i was dead.

Great news about your mom! I know what it feels like with the money issues since my sister and I had to go through that with my mom. Ending your life is not the answer. There are many places that you can go for help. As far as skills are concern, there are many places that will train you.
Where there is a will, there is a way. People do care about you and what you need to do is not worry about a jerk that may come in the room, but instead - lean on the support that you have here.
Let us know that you are ok.
