We are at the end of the line here..the Neurosurgeon and the Spine Care Clinic have ALL my records in hand and are going over them as I write. We're getting down to Brass tacks now...please...PLEASE...keep those prayers going guys...I so need to get back to work...on my FEET...NOT in a wheelchair!!!!!!




Spens...hang in there hon...now that the kids are fine, lets concentrate on Mom...we talked about this in pm, you hang in there and know you are doing the best you can. My dad loved his place after things settled down and it was easier on him. Give her time to adjust. She'll put up a fight, but you can handle it sweetie. You and her are in my prayers...constantly! (big hugs)


Mary...baby, I so know what you are going thru...I am keeping you in my prayers hon, you've got the "big guy" on your side...what else do ya need? Know that you are loved by many people in here, and you are in many peoples prayers...hang in there, cutie!!..*hugs*

Please continue to keep Whspr in your prayers as well... I spoke with her on the phone and she is coming along GREAT. ALL tubes and iv's have been removed and she's eating jello and pudding and drinking, wanting to get up and walk and even shower. Just continue to pray against any infection

Spenser - Hope all goes well. My Grandma was in a nice retirement center in Ill. She didn't want to go at first but made friends easily and really enjoyed it. She had an apartment all to herself and there were call buttons to the front desk in case of an emergency. But it had a full kitchen, etc. hope you can find one similar for your mom.

Keeping all in prayers. God loves all of us, just as we are, unconditionally.

Finally found the time and strength and the right place! Hi everyone, it's been a long, long time and I've got a lot of catching up to do. First I want to send my prayers to Toni and Daniel and wish him the best on his way to recovery. Second, Jazey baby, I'm worried about ya...e-mail me g/f! Last but not least, THANK YOU Spencer for bringing back the Tree! Now we weary people can gather under it's shade, rest, share and comfort one another.

I'm hanging in there and hoping things would get better. Surgery went well but seems I'm having recurring and worse problems with my legs down to my toes so much so that I'm on heavy meds and very restricted to my activities. Just when I thought things were going in the right direction I get pitched a curve ball! Anyway, if I don't stop by often it doesn't mean I'm not thinking of y'all.

I'm sending all my prayers and thoughts to everyone and wishing all the best to come. Having patience and preserverance without frustration and anger makes daily life a little easier. I know at times we may want to throw our hands up in the air and take our anger and frustrations out on others but it doesn't help. I've found screaming into a pillow helps and shedding some tears helps.

I wish I could hug each and everyone but all I can do is send my hugs, kisses, prayers and thoughts. Take care and remember, there are people here who care and love you although we may not have met face to face.

Glad to see some of the old "tree huggers" coming back.
You all are in my prayers.

Things with mom is not the best. I can not go into much detail, but family here have dropped the ball and financially she is in a real mess. They have just said they can not deal with it anymore. So I am going to get power of attny and take over her bills, I am going to get her in that retirement center if it is the last thing I do. She is already fighting me on this, but she can not take care of the house anymore, the family do not want to do it anymore, I am in KY and I can't relocate, so she must do this. So keep the prayers going. By the way I can not FORCE her into this as she is not in a place where I can do that. She would win in court if it came to that as she is in her right mind and can take care of her self to a point.
So, she is going to have to see that this is for the best and after my meeting with people next week, I plan on taking her there to see how it is. I just hope she agrees.

Just a thought...if she doesnt and cant look after herself, what about getting a home help person in every day? I have a nurse coming in now, but she can not make it all the time as she is very busy. And I am paying for this out of my pocket. As far as the services you are talking about, I have her name on the list. However, there is a long list but not much we can do about that. I will be meeting with them next week.

Well, things is slowing down for me...my mom still has the blood clot but she is home and trying to get rest....my brother has been told there is nothing they can do for his legs..... as for myself I keep trying to do as best as i can....***** seems to throw us all curve balls and we have to learn to deal with it.

Yanno....I sit here with my medical stuff going on, Jazey hon, all yours. Whspr rehabbing. Spencer's family. Mary. Yes. Kayte. And more.

At least we're still here. Last year I lost a very good friend from here who I'm still sworn to secrecy about. Now Bi Some, Try Some is gone in a tragic car accident.

I'll count my blessing's and say a prayer for her and hers.

OK folks. Saw the retirement center and it was awesome. Very very nice and works with her budget. The main thing was to get her come and see it. After talking with her tonight, she has agreed to at least go and look. I am hoping she will like it. If she does that we have a plan. Only thing is, there is a 5-6 month waiting list. But at least we have a plan.
I will let you know how it goes.
