The Metrodance Guidelines for New and Established Posters.

Guideline 20: Sycophantic Posters
It helps to imagine that literotica is a large classroom and then the behaviour becomes understandable, especially if you have ever transferred to a new school. Certain cliques exist within some imaginations, and some posters will do anything to be included.

I thought you were going to put them on the 1st page?

You do know that while you might be doing this in a new and interesting way, it has all been done before, right? Isn't that one of your guidelines?

Actually, no. I don't think I said anything about originality. If everything had to be original, the entire Lit board would vanish.

(Oliver - The first 20 are on the first page.)

Guideline 19: Literotica Greats
There are probably just nine genuine greats with another twelve that border on greatness. Sadly, some of the greats are no longer with us.

i think that's a matter of opinion, don't you?

Now you sound like lanciepants. A watered down version, but still...

Shouldn't there be a rule about excessive and unnecessary use of the quote feature?

Ohhhhh, good point. Quoting a huge long post just to "LOL" at the end of it.

And what about the cut n pasters? We need a rule on them.

There should also be mention that the rule of tar babies is a subdivision of the rule of holes. Having found that one has kicked a tar baby, one should first of all stop kicking.

Guideline 21: Ignore
Only effective when you tell someone they’re on your Ignore list. Otherwise they wouldn’t know they’re being ignored and what would be the point of that?

Almost a cruel barb but the use of lanciepants defused it. I think the reference in Guideline 20 to imagination is relevant.

An interesting viewpoint but one I feel certain the tar babies do not agree with. Still, it’s welcome to receive an alternate view. It is, after all, what makes Literotica great!

See, I think there's nothing dumber than posting "This person is on your ignore list. To read the post click here." Or mentioning twelve trillion times that somebody is on your list.

I wasn’t aware of this option, it must have been added in the last update.

I’ll certainly use it and I know of several other posters who could also avail themselves of this high-tech addition.

Thanks for pointing it out.

BTW, True or False doesn’t really work on subjective opinion threads but that, of course, is just my opinion.

As much it was mine.

Now about that picture.....

;)

yeah, you are a newbie afterall.

Not technically.

If you added the posts of my previous identity and now, they would be over 1,000.

As for the av, I have to give that a great deal of thought.

I feel I have stepped into that jeans commercial and said the immortal phrase: "she says, 'nice pants'".
