The cardio Dr put me on a new eating plan. It still leans toward low carb and drinking 50 oz of water a day but now I cant eat past 7 pm up until 11 am the next morning.

There are more instructions I will not bore you with but we'll see how the fasting until 11 am goes.

I own a beret. A red wool one. Haven't been able to wear it for years - too warm here. But I do like it.

I just got it out to look at it. It's been a while. It's still in pristine condition. It is a well made beret. I had no idea it was a military one. Ha. Bancroft Military Caps. It meets or exceeds the standard quality specified in commercial specification A.A -55184. It says so right on the label.

I got it years ago, decades. I can't remember which Olympics it was, but berets were big. My father wanted to get one. I'm not sure how I got roped into it, but I do look very cute in hats and I was going through a hat phase around that time so it's not inconceivable I volunteered to go. We bought them at this store downtown - they specialized in wool items. I don't remember the store name. It was a higher end boutique type store in one of the well to do shopping districts. We got matching red ones. I wore it often when I lived in the pacific northwest.

It would be kind of nice to be able to wear it again. Maybe next winter we'll have a cold enough day.
