My hot pepper growing friend dries and then grinds. That goes in a shaker at the table.

My eldest gave us a hot pepper plant several xmases ago, and it lives on the kitchen windowsill. They go straight from plucked to pan. I'm a big fan of sprinkles as a topping to almost anything savory though. They just look so damn pretty as well!

Plus, you can easily mess with the Ape by slipping a hot one in his porridge!

He'd love that! I can eat hotter, but he's by far the biggest fan. Even our salads have Birdseye chilies in them.

The chili I crave is the Hatch Green. Grown in New Mexico, shipped to Denver, and roasted while you wait.

Different than sprinkles but awesome with eggs.

Oh, I like it. I tend to sauté my spinach if it’s going anywhere near eggs, but I would enjoy this breakfast immensely.

that was my original idea, but i changed my mind at the last minute. I'm glad I did, because I really liked how the freshness and crunch of the spinach was softened by the smooth warmth of the egg. :)

What????? No breakfast in bed pics?? Maybe some chocolate dipped strawberries?

Im in the mood for some Avacado toast with an egg on top but I have some workmen here and have to wait.

One of my very favorite breakfasts in the world. Scrambled eggs with diced ham and rye toast. I got a big ham - on sale, holiday blah blah - and broke it down into segments to freeze for later. (Even got a nice ham bone for a bodacious soup when it gets a bit colder.) Kitty Girl got to indulge in the largesse too - the ham, not the eggs or the toast. Although oddly, she does like broccoli. Go fig.

Anyway, no pics but you'll just have to trust me it was delicious. :D

Costco had avocados on Monday and they were delivered with our order. Now, to wait for them to ripen.
