There was a thread about deconstruction and tropes and things recently on there, and that guy Jacquelope stumbled into it.; this same poster later wrote a blog entry abotu deconstruction where he was corrected by someone else, so I am assuming you are talking about him. It was clear that hed just encountered this term for the first time, so was just learning whole concept of deconstruction. A mistake anyone could make. As for toning down the misogyy, you should actually read his stories a bit closely, he has basically saying a vibe that implies human women are inferior to alien fairy women. Also all the people who eat people in his story are female and most victims are male. It feels like more subtle than misogyy. Just my honest opinion.

Wow, ok are you serious? The whole site is full of stories about women eating guys. By that logic they all have to be misogynistic. And they eroticize it. I do my stories to scare the holy shit out of people. And there's plenty of good female human characters in my work, too.

The REAL reason why I don't talk about gender issues on Eka's, and Kybele already knows this, is Eka's doesn't have women sitting around bashing men like we do here.
