The Author's Hangout Card Deck Info Thread

Yeah, a brand new thread with all the info on it -- just trying to keep things tidy!

54 card playing deck full color printed both sides, with AVs of various AH citizens centered and a patterned back. Heavy, durable stock. Picture side glossy, pattern side matte. Ink is water and wear resistant.

Cost: $10 per deck includes shipping inside the continental US. For those outside, shipping may vary somewhat.

Participation: Send me a PM stating what card position you'd like. This also commits you to buying one deck.

AV Requirements: 400 X 600 pixels or a 2:3 ratio JPG image is best. If you aren't sure about such technical things, send a PM to ArtisticBiGuy with your questions.

No exposed genitalia.
No exposed female breasts. "Suggestive is fine (is it ever!) but blatant can get us in trouble. Creative, artistic, or tasteful figleafing of said "no no's" are encouraged. Also, creative cropping can be fun.

No copyrighted images without permission of copyright owner (if someone drew a picture for you, get their OK in writing). No celebrity or public figure images. Please allow me and ABG to approve images -- we are printing these where we work at least partially during working hours.

You may submit your AV for your card to abguye @ yahoo.com within the next 10 days. I'll put out a call as we get near deadline.

PAYMENT: We are setting up a website with shopping cart for your convenience. Once this is working and people start ordering, we will have money for purchasing material. We also plan to take pictures of the manufacturing process to post. More news on this as I have it.

I still have a lot of cards that need AVs. I think we've made our minumum commitment level -- enough people have said they will cough up the dough so we can go into production soon -- so if you want to have your AV on the deck but don't think you can afford the $10, send me a PM. You can always chose to buy the cards later if you find you just can't live without them, or hit up folks to buy them for you as a gift!

ABG has promised to have the website up by tomorrow/Thursday latest. I am in nagging mode

Next Monday (May 22) is the Please-really, we need your file so I can get this artfile created date, but since I'm reasonably sure we won't start actually printing and fabricating until after Memorial day, I'm going to say that there's a LITTLE wiggle room.

We still haven't heard from Laurel about permission to use the Literotica logo, either and I sent that a week ago. So... should I send another PM about it? Or could someone who knows Laurel tell her that, yes, that's an actual request for permission and not just spam?
