Oh, I my partner had the same thing, fear of heights that he never used to have.

And, no. But I did have a treehouse, I built it myself, which was awesome.

Name an encounter with nature that had an impact on you?

I had a tree house too but could never get a girl up there. lol

I had an encounter with the ocean which I think made me much safer for the rest of my life. When you are bailing your engine room with a bucket because the water shorted out all your bilge pumps it tends to wake you up.

Years ago, we were on a camp site with tiny tents in the middle of a large field. It was summer, a great day. The entire day, though, a huge, impressive, peculiar looking cloud was floating around in the otherwise clear blue sky, circling us, almost. It was building and building. Until all hell broke loose, right on top of us. Gusts of wind so hard it flattened our tents, with us in it, and hail stones the size of golf balls, at least. It was over in no time, leaving the entire camp site dazed and confused and covered in a thick layer of wobbly ice. Nobody got hurt badly, though some people got nasty bruises, and some tents didn't survive. It was intense. I still think back on that with a weird mix of fear/love.
