A funny story for you all:

A few days ago, it was late, nearing 1am... It's been routine for the past couple of weeks that I'm in bed before midnight and he closes the house for the night.

I was sitting in my living room, my husband had been upstairs in the office. I hear him move around clearly getting ready for bed. As I'm sat there, my phone pings to tell me that he's set the house alarm. Uh oh. I'm in the line of sight for one of the sensors. I have seconds before it picks up movement and wakes up the entire house and neighbours. I turn off the house alarm with my phone.

Two minutes later, my phone pings and he's turned on the house alarm again. I quickly turn it off again.

He moves to the bedroom (he wouldn't have put the light on) and two minutes later, he puts the alarm on again. I quickly turn it off again.

By now, I'm laughing because he STILL hasn't realised I'm not in bed and it hasn't clicked with him that I'm downstairs. I hear him come downstairs, and says he thought I was in bed and that there was a fault with the alarm. (He would normally come downstairs and lock the doors but apparently he'd done that earlier). He was clearly too tired and his brain just not firing on all cylinders. Eejit.
