I'm looking to buy a car and I would like to read some user reviews first. I have two magazines [Road and Track Buyers guide 2003 (January 2003 edition) and Consumer Reports Cars: New Car Preview 2003 (Fall 2002 edition)] that I have thumbed through but I think I need more info. I am a bit suspicious that these magazines have an agenda that won't help me in the long run (Road and Track seems to like almost every car and Consumer Reports reviews are pretty negative [some would say tough but...?]). To make a long story shorter :) I was wondering if anyone could point some accredited sites out to me that have consumer reviews of new and used vehicles. Or if there are mechanics or people connected to the car industry that have opinions I would like to hear them. Thanks

Ahhhhh she beat me to it. I second edmunds they have good stuff.

Stop by consumer reports too though to get a balance.

If you are looking at trucks/SUV/Minivans stay away from Road&Track and Car&Driver they are just a little biased against those vehicles.

Thanks

Thank you to all that responded. I am very thankful that Cheyenne and Aswed for suggesting Edmunds since I had not been aware of that site before (obviously or I wouldn't have posted here in the first place).

Another wet coaster

Thanks Bi, I found edmunds pretty helpful especially their user reviews however it is american. Using a Canadian site would be super because it would have canadian dealer links and quotes in Canadian Bucks. Thanks again
