What a bunch of Bull Shit. Unions were worthwhile in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Now they are nothing but bloated, money hungry pigs. They don't care about the common man, they care about having their pockets lined and snow jobbing the poor fools into thinking that they care about the little man.

If unions were so great why do they have to fight Right to Work laws? When people are given the OPTION of being in a union people more often than not do not join the union. They would rather keep their money and spend it how they want and not on 100% liberal policies.

Getting rid of the minimum wage would be a HUGE help to the economy. People forget that one of the triggers to the economic recession was the cost of living increase that was brought about by the Democrat Congress passing the minimum wage increase in 2007. Poor people started losing jobs and the cost of goods went up. Many of those people had fucked up mortgages and pop went the economy. Artificially increasing wages means the cost of everything else will also rise so you are in a never ending spiral. With many union jobs pay indexed to minimum wage it makes those jobs more expensive as well (and makes the minimum wage hike a political payoff to the unions).

People would have much more freedom without unions and without the minimum wage. Small businesses, which are the engine that drives the American Economy, would then have the ability to hire people and pay them what the job is worth AND not have to put up with excessive union regulations. Trust me, there are enough lawyers in this country that if anyone is "trampled" by business then there will be plenty of trial lawyers chomping at the bit to get a piece.
