I think it is a good idea to share the info with our girls. I was never talked to about this at all and there was nothing mentioned in our Sex Ed class. I had no idea what it was until my husband told me what it was.
How do we go about it? I have a 16 year-old daughter and I want her to grow up knowing what happens and to know that sex is fun and good, and loving. I have always answered any question she has asked me on the subject with honesty, it has made for some pretty funny conversations when she was little. She asked me once when she was about 10 or so what an orgasm was and I told her it was the really fun part of having sex. She rolled her eyes and said "I can't imagine ANY part of doing that would be fun." LOL. Well, boys were smelly and yucky when she was 10.
I have always made sure there were informative and educational books around the house and in her room and told her she can ask me questions of any of the material, so far she hasn't, she's bright and catches on. I just don't recall any books mentioning female ejaculation or masturbation techniques. Does anyone out there know of a good publication on the subject? I'd rather not introduce my daughter to adult sites just yet.
