Aw.. well I'll try to stay up later and make some conversation next time you're on. Right now I'm all walked and talked out. Busy day. Weather is too perfect to miss out on.

Good night all!

 Real life before Lit sweetheart. :)

I was glad to see you popped on here last night after I fell asleep.

*starts coffee*

Starts the coffee.

Good morning all. Welcome to Saturday. May yours be pleasant and filled with perfect imperfections. I'm looking forward to a day of simple beauty.

My Saturday has ended and I'm well into Sunday already here.
The night is filled with clear air and glittering city lights - and I have to tune to a cartoon channel to get away from blanket mentions of Trump

75 and sunny today. I know tnman was surprised I wasn't out hiking or something yesterday, but to be honest, I've been pretty busy lately. I still manage to get a 2 hour walk in almost every night, sometimes more. I do try to walk during the day too sometimes, my dog prefers daytime walks I'm finding.

I just found a new game I want to play, a nerdy sci-fi mmo, I love the name. Here's a guy playing it now.

Good day all. Been a while since I've been in this astronaut hangout. Good to see it's still going!

 Hello there. :)

We need more conversational topics though. Follow through with what people say, start new conversations, or else they'll lose interest and leave.

So like.....

what do you all like about the Fall?

My big thing is I love the fact that football season is on. I also like the fact the kids are at school and the weather is more robust.

Hello stranger.

Hey bud!

We need more conversational topics though. Follow through with what people say, start new conversations, or else they'll lose interest and leave.

True true. I looked at that Project Genom. Looks interesting, but I don't play MMOs sadly. I'm more into the one player story games. I'm in Asia at the moment but I'm looking to get Rise of the Tomb Raider once I get back.

So, there I was writing this brilliant little note – and the power went out. We're sitting here in this part of California with the promise of rain but no actual rain yet. It was a semi-productive workday but it's wrapped up now.

Starry - some years ago I went through a giant purge of stuff. I found some stuff that brought back great memories. I found some stuff I forgot I owned. And I found some things but I have no recollection of ever owning. The coolest was a set of metal plating tools and equipment. I have no idea where that one came from.

Tiamo - good to see you, even if it's just a drive-by.

It's been a little cooler here this week so I could dig longer & deeper into the last 25 years mystery closet. I've been trying to find homes for things that are still good with people who need them or recycle things properly.

I found my old air brush (CO2) tank so I took it to the dive shop this morning to have them scrap it. One of the LCD TVs I bought when they first came out was for when we did video game tournies with the military kids. My Needle Doc (Marine) is going to help me physically move so I took it over to him. His TV got hit in a power surge and his family is fighting over the 1 TV they now have that works. I got 2 big tubs of art supplies out of here to another local artist who will use the spray paint & seashells.

I'm down to the last 1/3 of the house and I am basically packed except for everyday stuff I use.

I turned off my DISH service since I'll be moving. It seemed like a good thing to do to save some money. I've not had TV on here since my shoulder surgery end of March anyway. I honestly have not missed the political commercials. The house phone is hooked up to the fax machine so all the political calls coming in are going there.

Fall appeals to all the senses for me, especially in Colorado.

Touch - The best part is that the temps are cool but not too cold. I especially love sunny days like I've been having. I can feel all snug in clothes, but then take them off as it gets warmer.
Sight - The trees are soo amazing with their vibrant colored leaves. So much vivid yellow, shocking reds, and yummy oranges positively glow through the branches.
Smell - I love the smell of the trees and leaves. Mmmmm. The air is crisp and there's just something about fall where I smell everything so much clearer. Campfires, grills, leaves, trees, marijuana, people's perfumes/laundry...
Sound - The leaves crunching under my feet, I love to walk and it is fun to crunch them, lol.

I wonder why the smell of fall always gets me, I just googled, and there is a scientific reason for it.
"Upon further research on a meteorology forum, there is a distinct smell of snow; nitrogen dioxide, formaldehyde, nitric acid, dimethyl sulphide and sulphate and methanesulphonate to be exact."

Yeah that's a good one, I've watched it being played and it looks AMAZING.

When I moved last year my Mum and I cleared out our family home which we had lived in for 30 years. Needless to say there was an absolute ton of stuff, mot of which wasn't mine! It took my Mum 3 weeks to clear the house, and a lot of being very ruthless!

You sound like you have such a busy life! Last year at this time I was desperately trying to sell a mountain home, as well as looking non-stop over the weekends for a new home. So much stress!

Why not play it? I'm replaying the first one so I can remember how the story went before I move onto the second one. The remastered version for PS4 looks really good!

That is a 4K game, and I just upgraded my entire computer to be able to play 4k games, but now I need to buy the $1000 monitor. I play to get one over Christmas and then I'll hit up Rise of the Tomb Raider and Witcher 3.

That's one excuse. I really just like playing games with others for some reason. Not that I particularly join guilds and meet people, the opportunity is there. I love pvp though. Also, MMOs for me can last much longer, I get more playtime out of them. One game I've come back to after 8 years.

Hello everyone. I am here checking if there's any fun to be had or pots to be stirred lol

Ah I forgot you're a PC gamer. I moved away from PC many years ago after I started office work - I didn't want to sit in front of my computer all day, and then all night as well.

I stopped playing games about 5 years ago when it became too time consuming. However I've recently been sucked back into it, although it's mostly a social thing as two of my oldest friends are doing the same. So I see it more as social hangout time rather than gaming.

Yeah this has been bad. The jerk off up front has been threatening the landlords that he'd turn them in for the health and code violations I have been living in and making them do whatever changes he wanted done on his side of the house. So they came back with telling ALL of us we had 6 months to get out and they are selling the house. This right after I got cleared to PT from the shoulder surgery. So between the heat (no AC here in Florida on my side of the house), the pain from the left shoulder surgery & Physical therapy then add in the stress of that with dumping half my life it's been a really ugly summer.

No help beyond a so called friend I cut off cause she wanted to get her hands on my stuff & sell it. She watches that American Picker show on TV & thinks she is a picker now. So I cut her off cause I don't need her in here helping herself to my stuff.

Hello everyone. I am here checking if there's any fun to be had or pots to be stirred lol

I did the pot stirring thing earlier in the week when I was a "mean person" = bitch and refused to allow a Korean War Vet's wife to go with him on his Honor Flight. It's not a tour & NONE of them are allowed to go unless they are veterans themselves and put in an application. That wasn't good enough for her. Honestly I'm not sure anyone has ever told this woman no before. I did draw the line at asking if she went with him on his military missions too. Told her NO many times then called my boss to warn her she may get a call saying I'm a bitch for saying NO.

Hello everyone. Hope the Saturday is treating you all well.

Hey Stranger. Nice to see you pop up. :rose:

Pots have been stirred earlier this week. The thread has been removed today, lol.

Hey, good to see you! You don't check Skype much, do you!

Yeah that's why I have to get outside so much and move around. I'd die of nervous energy being on the computer so long. I do have XBox and a Wii U, so I play them occasionally. I like the control of a pc more though.

Yeah I read about that a bit earlier. Good thing you stood up to her, she sounds like she needed it.
