Spacebar 3.0 >.<

Pots have been stirred earlier this week. The thread has been removed today, lol.

Hey, good to see you! You don't check Skype much, do you!

Yeah that's why I have to get outside so much and move around. I'd die of nervous energy being on the computer so long. I do have XBox and a Wii U, so I play them occasionally. I like the control of a pc more though.

Yeah I read about that a bit earlier. Good thing you stood up to her, she sounds like she needed it.

I had 2 of them this time that are mad at me. One made her husband call. I am still waiting for him to call & say he will not go if she can't. One of the other girls who call had a Vet drop out last time because his wife made him since she couldn't go. Seriously I don't understand that at all.

Both the Xboxs have been packed & The DreamCast too. Just the laptop left out since I use that for everything work & play wise. The smarter then me phone stays out all the time.

Oops, I meant to say 'online games' earlier. But it's good that you get around, too many gamers just hide up at home and get really unhealthy!

OMG a Dreamcast! What a classic machine!

Hmm. Pot stirring, nice weather, gaming and general busy talk about this and that. This is more the norm for a Spacebar visit. Hi Tiamo, Paul, Starry, AFM and Azul. SA, you can get all the entertainment you want at lit w/o even becoming involved in a thread conflict. Pic threads have either rabid fans, disgruntled viewers or people who just don't or stop commenting. Come to think of it, things are that way throughout lit world so just enjoy the view.

Yes I had given my opinion on that before, they took it down.
I am not necessarily looking to start trouble. I am more interested in starting something exciting. It gets boring at times when no one speaks their minds.

True fun without conflict who can ask for more

Looks great - wow Second Life has come a long way in these latest MMOs

I read Second Life and almost had a heart attack. I wouldn't be caught dead in that... lol. Thankfully you corrected yourself, lmao.

And Dreamcast, I knew it sounded familiar, I had to google. The Dreamcast (Japanese: ドリームキャスト) is a home video game console released by Sega on November 27, 1998 in Japan, September 9, 1999 in North America, and October 14, 1999 in Europe.

Tiamo! How are you? Long time no see. As beautiful as ever...

...and I saw one in a cabinet with a pile of other classic history pieces just yesterday!
Apparently still working

I worked for them (it had a OS operating system) and I worked for Microsoft too for years.

Hello, I am well, thank you! And you?

I have some old consoles in the garage I am thinking of getting rid of. Nothing impressively classic though. It's almost time to get the latest consoles.

*looks out and smiles*
Thank you for the compliment earlier, you are a sweetie!

Very cool, nice to see another woman with a techy career!

I'm off to do some research now. But I'm excited as it is actually multi-tasking several things. I get a great workout in, enjoy the day, get some research in on an upcoming event, and spend some time on an old hobby. Maybe I'll take a few pics if I see anything beautiful.

Sounds like a fun afternoon Tiamo! Enjoy it.

I've spent the day wandering. Met a pair of friends for breakfast at a local cafe (french toast and strawberries). Then went for a post breakfast walk at a local river park on a cool and beautiful day. From there, drove across the city and picked up a friend of mine (who doesn't drive for health reasons) and took him out to several nurseries so he could find the perfect trio of peace lilies.

After that, drove back across town and met another friend for lunch (sushi and fish and chips, followed by coffee and a slice of chocolate cake), then wiled away two hours in great conversation about everything that arose - mostly focused on the impact of information overload on society in general.

(It was a totally geeked out conversation - my friend is an information omnivore and I spent long years in the trenches as an information analyst before moving over to project management - so it was an in-depth conversation on the psycho-social impact of an imperfect information flow and the turbulence caused by cognitive dissonance.)

Ahhhh, a very nice day unfolded so far. Now I am home to kick back, put up my feet, watch Ancient Aliens, and play online.

Nice to see some action in this thread for a change.

I miss the old thread, the folks who would pop in and rock it and such. But the present is a gift for a reason. The big thing is the doors are always open for anyone whether old or new, hot chick or cool dude, or even outcasts and nice guys like me. ;)

Now, I have to do what I do the best. I have to get ready for work.

Please make sure you all have a safe Saturday night. We have storms headed up here to my part of the world and I'm sure there is exaggeration happening.

Good night all.

Goodnight Azul - hope your night goes smoothly.

So, I was just wondering - what makes a person a Lit Outcast?

If I remember correctly, there was a classic game on the Dreamcast called Powerstone. Good times!

I love to play Ms Pac man, Centipede and Sonic on mine too.
So I'm an old classic history buff???

I took my nieces to an special exhibition over the summer that covered gaming consoles for the past 40 years, and you could play them too. They loved the old Atari and other classic games. ;)

If you're going to go old school - I had some great times on the classic Atari console. The games were simple and hypnotizing. I've got the classic pack on my PC just for those times when I need to turn the world off and play some Missile Command.

Had to work until 2. Cleaned house a bit. Then while walking the puppy my 3 yr old nephew wanted to come home with me. He lasted about 30 minutes. But fun playing. Headed to bed soon.

Wish I could join you!

Shmily - that sounds like a very pleasant day. A good friend of mine has a two year old grandson who is fascinated by my place because it's on the third floor. Any time he gets wind that his grandfather or mother are coming over here he has to come along. He comes in, hugs me, and heads straight to the patio where he sits and looks through the slats laughing at the view for about thirty minutes, then he is ready to go.

Hi Clit - hope your evening is going well.
