Shogun Fun

My wife and I have been binge watching Shogun this weekend. There is some sexual overtones especially by how vague it is lets the watcher leave a lot to their imagination. I remember reading the book once or twice in high school and college and enjoying it thoroughly. I am now recalling the sexuality throughout the book.

At the same time, my wife and I had 3 nights of incredible sex this weekend. Could have been because of her upcoming period which usually has her more aroused than normal. Could have been lack of sex during the week and making up for it on the weekend. But either way, the great sex coincided with Shogun's sexual tension.

I am now on the hunt for more information about Japanese pleasure houses and how I can incorporate them in my bedroom. Has anyone had much luck or any recommendations for stuff to try? I'll be scouring the internet and if there is some interest I will try to update with what I find.

Have been watching Shogun also. I agree it has lovely sexual overtones but I like how they didn’t make it more about the sex than the story. A little imagination goes a long way in my opinion and it looks like your wife and you think along those same lines.

If you’d like to watch a great and I mean great movie on Japanese pleasure houses watch Memoirs of a Geisha. In fact I had read the book before the movie and it did it justice. It is a visually stunning movie first and foremost and won three Oscars, Cinematogrophy, Art and Costumes I believe. Nominated for several more. Like you, I started to look for more info on the “Tea Houses” as Shogun says, and It was an interesting journey learning about it.

My own experiences in the Far East were in Korean Tea Houses….not as classy but the journey was just as fun
