Selective warnings?

If interpretation is subjective, what's the point of TOS?

You sound as if you want the discussion board to run the way you want it to.

Doesn’t work that way.

Just because you find something you think is a violation, Laurel gets that decision.

Otherwise your name would be on the door, right?

I'm not looking for any special consideration for me or for anyone else.

All I'm asking is that all TOS violations be properly and fairly addressed.

How do you know they aren’t being properly addressed?

You’re looking at the rules through your eyes, not Laurel’s

This is a place of business. Hers not ours.

Some things you just have to deal with.

twitter doesnt, goog doesnt, facebook doesnt, redditt doesnt, msm doesnt etc, why should lit? deal with it, its a one way street, always.

If the rules were yours to interpret, who would you ban?

The Left? The Right?

People of Color? White people?

Men? Women? Transgender?

Gay? Bisexual? Straight?

Old people?

Or just people you don’t agree with?

In any case, it’s a lost cause to fight the war
you’re waging because nothing is going to change
to suit you personally.

I would ban all members that violated TOS.

I would ban all members that violated TOS.

Fair enough.

But again, determining what is a violation of the rules isn’t in your hands.

If you think there is a violation - report it.

If they get banned, fine.

But don’t get pissy if they aren’t banned.

The decision wasn’t yours to make.

That’s like saying the cop that pulls you over for speeding and gives you a ticket has a say so in your punishment. People talk their way outta tickets in court every day.

Unless your personal info is being posted, such as address, phone etc or the "p" word is being used, who cares?

It's just a board. If you are that offended, step away from the internet.

Disclosing personal information of other members was just one of the issues I mentioned. Spamming and threats of violence were the other two.

Do you agree that spamming and threats of violence are violations of TOS?

I reported VeraBad for spamming. No warning has been issued.

I reported FukLuk for threatening another member. No warning has been issued.

I reported IrezumiKiss, von_Bismarck, and RobDownSouth for disclosing personal information about another members. No warnings have been issued.

Why do you feel the need to report these things?
