depends how its done

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Is pornography art? Who decides what is pornography? To me there are some wonderful pictures that are not pornographic but beautiful images that express so much.


Some of the most beutiful women/men in the world have posed nude to show the beauty of the human form.

A quote I found that seems to sum up my meandering thoughts on this subject:

In many ways nudity is the pure essence of art.

The body language is never indifferent. It touch us with very deep feelings. The feelings of live, love and passion.

By definition, porn is not art.

As I understand the current (legal) definiton of porn, it includes "without artistic merit." Ergo, by definition if it's porn, it can't be art.

That's the legal definition of "obscene" material.

Not all pornography falls into the legal definition of "obscene."

The dictionary definition of "pornography" is "a depiction of erotic behaviour intended to cause sexual excitement."

By the accepted definitions, most of this website is "pornography," though none of it (or at least very little) is legally "obsene."

the defination of porn and art vary from person to person.

It's like music, one person can like rap while another likes classic rock.

There cannot be one solid definition in this matter, because no two people have exactly the same taste.
