S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y Night!

Home.

Just spent 8 hours building/painting the set. I'm exhausted, sore, covered with paint and sawdust.

Again.

And I fell off the ladder, now my ankle's swollen. Pisses me off, since we're supposed to go to the Renaissance Festival tomorrow - kids are excited, it's Barbarian weekend, we must go!

But rum and a hot bath could certainly make Saturday night happen.

:)

* Splash *

Here, let me rub that... umm... ankle for you. :devil:

Damn, stood up. Pleaz is stopping by but we're not honky tonking tonight. Ah well, at least I get to see her.

Ouch. If it starts to turn a bruised color though, I'd think about going to the doctors office. Usually a lot of swelling and bruising will indicate a level 2 sprain aka a partially torn tendon. Couple of those and it may lead to surgery. Heh, I should know, one more and I may have to have surgery myself

Can't afford otherwise. Plus I like the personal touch.

Depending on what it costs I might make a rope flogger as well. And last time I was at a hardware store I saw a spool of thin chain where the links had almost sharp edges. Won't use that for a flogger but my somewhat demented mind thinks it might be and interesting thing to tie someone up with.

Untwisting the nylon rope makes a nice faux-horsetail flogger.
