Impressive! Please share: what are some of your Fave/Least fave ones? (Traveler here and Budding World traveler.)

I am blessed to have a job that includes a lot of travel. So not only do I get to go to lots of places, I have 'the man' who pays for it all!

Top places include: Italy (the history, the food, the wine, the people), Holland (the tulips, the canals, the art everywhere you look and the friendliest people in the world) for sure, Ireland (the food, the people and sights) and Australia was epic (such amazing people, food and wine).

Though I love most places in Europe. Germany is always fun and Spain is amazing. Argentina in south America was incredible (the food and wine).

Tell me what you are interested in and I will let you know if I have been there and what I thought about it.

Forgot my least favorites. Not generally a fan of Asia but that's just me. Really, really crowded. Taiwan is probably my least favorite. Crowded, the food is not great. Singapore is nice.

Hong Kong is also amazing. So beautiful with the skyline from across the bay. And such an amazing melting pot with lots of Brits and Aussies there along with tons of pubs.

Thank you for the detailed reply. Outside of the States we have only been to a small number of places in Mexico. I'm interested in a few places but I'll stick to the Top of the list ones here: Italy (Venice, Rome, Napoli), Portugal (Lisbon and Porto), Japan (Toyko), France (Paris, Lyon and Marsielle) Amsterdam and Brussels (Bruge) and London. Thanks!!

Italy is incredible. So many places and each so different from the others. The food is amazing as is the wine.

Rome is like no place I have ever been. To so many amazing structures that are literally 2,000 years old and not just still standing but still being used!

Venice is a place like no other. Stay in the city if you can. The canals are amazing. Definitely need to take a gondola ride. Tour the Doge Palace and . St. Mark's Square (the massive plaza) and the Basilica. Rialto Bridge and so much more!

Florence is also amazing and also so different.

Never been to Portugal but would love to one day!

Tokyo is fun. For what it is. Crowded, but so many sites to see. Especially at night. Word of caution, there are fewer signs in English than I expected. You definitely want to plan ahead and be prepared (smart phone a most) before heading out each day or evening. At least that was my experience.

France is interesting. Paris is beautiful. The Eifel Tower, the Louvre and so many other sights. Interesting note, the Louvre is free to enter one day a month (to ensure even the poorest people can see the artwork). I have been there a number of times but have found the Parisians to be rude and off putting. For all the money tourists bring to the economy, the locals are pretty obvious for their disdain of tourists, at least Americans.

Having said that, up on the Northern coast, the French are amazing people. Spent a week with my son touring all the sites in Normandy. Such a somber and incredible place to visit. Even the German cemetery.

You will love Amsterdam. It is everything you have heard and more!

Brussels and Bruges are nice. You will enjoy Bruges especially. Definitely see Gent if you can, another beautiful European city!

And if you ever go to London, look me up. I could be a tour guide I have been there so many times. I still never tire of visiting!

Apologies to all for the lengthy post!

Plus I cant wait to see that Neon nightlife!! ...The more I research on Paris, I become a little less interested. I will still see it. I know it will beautiful in spots and besides it will be on a Combo trip with London. Since they aren't that far apart! ... Great to hear your reaction to Amsterdam. It looks so beautiful and walkable. This guy can never get Enough Canals!! :D

Be careful traveling to Amsterdam my friend. You may never leave! LOL Such a beautiful city with three amazing art galleries! Everywhere you look, there are people on the street and in the parks sketching and painting. The Dutch are the absolute friendliest most welcoming people in the world. Be sure you go in the spring during tulip season and it will be something you will never forget. Also beware of the morning traffic jams. And by traffic jam, I mean 6' tall blondes in short skirts riding bikes by the hundreds.

I have been to the following countries:
bahamas
england
scotland
st lucia
antigua
grand turk
virgin islands
barbados
st. maarten
st. martin
st. kitts
cuba
canada

I would have gone to more as I was planning; then the COVID pandemic hit.

You know, randomly, I know at least four men with one testicle.

Testicular implants are a thing. A tangential piece of information here - people, mostly men, get their dogs testicles replaced with much larger ones in a show of macho masculinity.

Yep. Although no place I have not been before, I had trips to the Netherlands, Taiwan and Germany all planned and cancelled thanks to Covid.

You are quite the world traveler. I just wanted to visit some places in Europe. I've always been intrigued with Iceland and Norway.

Yeah, I'm really lucky that I get to travel for work. So the company pays for it all. Including all my fancy meals and drinking (business develop).

Never been to Iceland or Norway. At least not yet. They are on my list of places I want to see. Did get to enjoy 4 days in Sweden and that places was amazing. I was there in the summer so the weather was fantastic.

I self taught myself some stupid penis tricks to get on the David Letterman show but I never got a call.

I have worked very hard at physical therapy. I can now open my mouth 17mm more than I could when I began.
