Okay, so who watched this docuseries on Netflix? If so, let’s discuss it. Because I’m pretty sure “butthole girl” is probably lurking here.

For those who haven’t, it’s about a guy named Hunter Moore who set up a revenge porn site. It went beyond just posting pics to doing things like posting their nudes with links to their social media accounts, pics of their children, links to their family, employer info, etc. The guy’s entire deal was to ruin people and have his followers degrade them.

Perhaps the most bizarre portion of the documentary was the number of girls just lining up to meet him. Girls would do anything to get his attention, online or in person. He was more than willing to ruin people, yet girls were trying to get on his dick. I suppose the prospect of being internet famous was alluring. I don’t know.

Anyway, with Lit being a place where people are always sending their junk to each other, it was sad to see the dark side of it. I mean, is there nothing sacred about taking pics of yourself shoving a cell phone up your ass anymore? (That’s a real thing in the show)

Whereas I bet most of Lit would be like “ *nods* and then what happened? “

I wanna know where Hunter Moore is now. He’s kinda unfindable online.

I think the dudes that worshipped him- “The Family” was even creepier than all the girls throwing themselves at him! Those guys just wanted… to… be… friends?

Will definitely watch now. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

A couple of thoughts. 1) Butthole Girl is a moron and if she's not doing porn, it's not because she didn't try.2) Some one the stuff folks did because Hunter said so, like shitting in a car or worse were really disturbing. 3) The mother who is featured is a total badass 4) Not any great revelation, but the internet is forever.

All of this. I am so baffled by this shitty punishment that both the guys got and the horribly offensive restitution.
He gave away so much personal info and I understand that at the time, there were very few laws in place for this. But damn. Way too light of a punishment.
The worship, the cruelness. Amazed me. People were so mean to these women and so up Hunters ass. Why?

I think this was just a disturbing look into some creep’s thinking. Like, how could someone be that cruel. He truly had no conscience.

This realize was a fascinating documentary to me. It was really sad listening to some of the stories. Good for that mom for fighting like hell. (Slight spoiler ahead) And kudos to Anonymous for fucking with that guy’s life.
