I put up with a lot of bs from my immediate family, because I have to.

I don't have tattoos
I wrote my "Rules for posting" for myself only, but also as a message to others. I'm not so vain as to think people actually care about the rules, or even have read them. I just did it as my way of not allowing myself to lose sight of the reasons "things happen" sometimes.
The reason I wait at least 5-minutes after a guy posts is my irritation with gents who - either intentionally or due to naïve ignorance of their posting - seem to have this NEED to pee on all bushes as quickly as possible. They race trying to make sure they cover up the scent of the previous man by posting as quickly as possible - turning a fun thread into a "speed dating" service. I made that rule so that I would NOT be one of "those guys." I'm not perfect and don't always assign blame or intent to those that speed post, but the rule does help me be less of an asshole.
Same goes for people posting as a couple. They are enjoying each other's company. I can wait until their back and forth peter's out before adding any contribution to the thread. I am not always checking past posts and sometimes insert myself between people. it happens. But it never happens when I am trying to be watchful and compassionate for their efforts.
As to trying to be kind to women (or men) - that shouldn't need a "rule." But I wrote it because there have been times I was in such a rush to post (see rule 1 above) that I was oblivious to posters who post things that are personal to them. They are using lit to vent out the building pressure we all feel at times. Or they took a chance and revealed something about themselves. When I ignore those types of things, I invalidate one of THEIR reasons for being in lit. We should appreciate the courage it takes to reveal yourself to strangers. We should take the moment to compliment those in need. We've all been there. We've all needed confirmation that we have worth. I believe it doesn't take that much effort for me to do my part in making people feel valued here.

Very sweet.
I am a very prim and proper bespectacled person![]()
Until you’ve had three pints of Guinness and stumble into the bedroom
My panties and bras always have to match or, at the very least, coordinate colors. My tad of OCD kicking in there.
Both of my balls match in size and color
Fixed it for you.![]()
