What can't be repeated is the broadly shared prosperity. It was a time when the difference between the working class and the middle class faded, because it was possible for a white man, at least, with only a high-school education to earn a middle-class income through manual labor. That will not happen again in our lifetime.
 
I’d missed the fact that the Clown Show administration’s choice to head NOAA was involved in the hurricane Sharpie incident. 😆

Jacobs, who was acting NOAA administrator during President Donald Trump’s first term, was cited for misconduct related to the “Sharpiegate” hurricane forecasting controversy.

It’s a historic gathering of jackasses.

NOAA fired 880 employees for show. The money saved isn’t even a drop in the bucket of federal spending.
