What’s my argument? I don’t have to make an argument. Shall NOT be INFRINGED! You might want to familiarize yourself with that statement.
The onus is on YOU to repeal it. We have the Constitution and the Law on our side.
No one is saying the 2A says anything else. What is under debate here is its VALUE. Arguments against have been made -- at this point the onus is on YOU to make arguments FOR.

What's your argument against repeal? Citing the language of the current 2nd Amendment is meaningless. Once it's gone those words won't be law anymore.

It doesn't have to be complicated. The new amendment would be based on the 21st Amendment repealing prohibition:
The second article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.
Congress would then be free to pass any gun control legislation necessary for public safety.

The point is just to get the process started. If Congress passes the amendment and sends it to the states, then repeal as such becomes a political ISSUE in the way it never was before. Several State constitutions had a Self-Defense emphasis…some predating ‘91. Many explicitly protected the right to bear arms for self-defense. You might want brush up on the Pennsylvania Constitution of 1776…it stated that "the people have a right to bear arms for the defense of themselves and the state."
So here you are…attacking the Constitution. Interesting you haven’t jumped on the First Amendment bandwagon. Some Israeli gazillionaire was on the TeeVee just last week saying First Amendment rights should be curtailed.
This is just another coordinated Radicalized democrat attack on America.

Over 100 posts in and none of the 2nd amendments supporters have been able to articulate a single reason not to get rid of it. That suggests that repeal won’t be as impossible as they think it is.
There is a short list of LEGITIMATE USES for privately owned firearms:
1) Home/personal defense.
2) Hunting.
3) Target shooting as a hobby.
4) Gun collecting as a hobby.
And that's it. End of list. (Insurrection ain't on it.)
So it comes down to arguing over the value and importance of THOSE, as weighed against the problems private ownership presents.
Sure, just get 38 states and 2/3 of congress to green light that.

as a private owner i can confidently say 3/4 of these are the only reasons i own. and because there are so many of us, i am not worried about needing to use them against a tyrannical government. the government is stupid, but not that stupid to fafo.
