But has it failed? The guns owned by us private citizens keep us all from speaking Chinese, Russian or some other country that gets a wild hair up it's butt. If we actually put criminals in jail and held them accountable that would help. Criminals who aren't going to care if there is a 2nd Amendment or not will still find guns to further their crime. Why do you think no one has ever taken Switzerland, everyone is part of the militia and mandated to have a gun. Our problem in this country isn't the guns but rather the criminals and people that display red flags but no one reports. People see signs but say nothing. So, no don't repeal the 2nd Amendment.
