Okay... Apparently my back porch has become a mating ground for "mosquito hawks" (as we call them here in Texas ). I stepped out for a bit and wound up watching them... it was the most bizarre thing...

They *fight* with each other for about 2 minutes... and then they line up just right - backside to backside - and just SIT there for about 2 minutes. (Okay, I'm sure there's more going on, it's just too tiny to see.) Then the struggle starts all over again.

I could get started on this being an allegory for R/W relationships, but that could result in pages... So, I'll just say this:

WHY ARE THE BUGS GETTIN' MORE ACTION THAN I AM?
