You know what would be quite illuminating? Take all the women depicted in these various memes and show them photos of Rightguide, Chernosoth et al along with a blurb about their politics, and see what they think. I doubt it would be any too flattering.

They might say all those guys are too old. The women screaming pics could be just young women spending their youth. Politics is a relatively safe space where they can express anger. They can join teams to shout as a chorus.
