I know web1000.com does advertising and redirection if you type in a bad URL for any website they host - this is how they make their money so they can host for free.
But have any of you had this happen when going to my website and the URL has been good? Did you actually get to my website and then have it redirect you, or popup (or popunder) an ad on you?
If so, please let me know immediately. Please try to keep track of the exact circumstances and what the URL was that you tried to go to, and where you wound up. If web1000.com is randomly redirecting people every once in a while then I want to know.
At the same time, keep in mind that some websites play nasty tricks and muck with your browser in such a way that it seems like some other website is the culprit. This happens on Lit. periodically, especially if somebody has been also surfing other porn sites.
Rest assured that I have no popups on my site (I HATE them with a passion! Grrr! ) or other tricks therein - just fairly straightforward web pages. Also, if a website, especially a porn website, or an untrusted website, asks you to download a "viewer" - don't do it! Often those programs are a viral agent, and they are also often dialers that call out on your phone to rack up long distance calls to 900 numbers. If a website does that to me (tries to download a program) I never go back there again - they are crooks and thieves.
