I went to the In-N-Out in Vegas. The patties were as thin as those in a Big Mac (Paper thin). Got a "large" milkshake and it was served in a child's cup. Had to wait about 30 minutes for my food because it was so packed.
Seriously not one fucking clue as to why anyone would find it even decent, much less "one of the best burgers". So overrated.

I also like Arby’s. So sue me.
I’ve eaten at In-N-Out in a few locations. I’ve eaten there in Vegas and a few in some locations across California. They were all good to me. Never had the super thin patty issue you’ve had. I’d argue I had the opposite experience. It was a lot of food. And I’m a pretty big guy, so I can really eat some meat (heehee).

This was my experience, too! I’ve only been to CA once, and trying In-N-Out was on my must do list. I was with a bunch of colleagues and none of us could understand the appeal. My burger and shake were just okay, not at all what I expected from a place so many call their favorite. The animal style fries were disgusting. I was so disappointed, lol.
We don’t have Whalburger near us and the one relatively close just closed permanently, so we missed out. But we do have SmashBurger, Five Guys, Freddy’s, and Red Robin - all definitely much better. Steak and Shake is much better, imo.

In and out is the best burger place because their burgers always come out hot, sauce is good, and its cheap. Like The Habit is also great but it costs 2 or 3 times the price of In and Out but its not twice as good.
