You're just noticing this OP?
In the service industry, women tend to make more money in tips, too.
At least on the internet you can reap the benefits of being a woman by pretending to be one. In real life, all you get is people humming Aerosmith's "Dude Looks Like a Lady" behind your back.

That's because we are cuter and nicer, of course. Or maybe we are all just a bunch of hoooores, and we get more in tips because "pathetic" men are pretty sure we'll put out.![]()
Not if you are really convincing in drag. If you are pretty enough, you, too, will get bigger tips and higher votes on your most mediocre stories. That's how it works!![]()
I'm 6'5" and about 320 lbs with a full beard, so I don't think cross-dressing would work for me. I have a hard enough time finding men's clothes and shoes in my size.
So there you have it. A contradiction to your contradiction.
No no! I'm sure mine is bigger than Willie's![]()
Hey, Slyc, I wish you would do a FAWC where entrants have to post two stories - one from a male and the other from a female PoV. It would be fun to hear the reasons why people guessed the author and also the ways they think gender has influenced the writing style.

FAWC is in libido, unfortunately.

Now there's a good typo.

But back to the complaint of the OP of this thread: I assume you are male; your pen name and writing style indicate you are, and you haven't made your gender ambiguous. Yet you don't seem to be suffering low scores on your stories from throngs of "pathetic" males who are so disappointed by the fact that you aren't female and they won't be getting lucky with you. In fact, your scores are quite good. So maybe, just maybe, the scores you receive might be indicative of your talent as a writer, and how well you connect with your readers -- regardless of the gender of the author or the audience. Just a thought...
Now there's a good typo.
Sorry I couldn't resist picking up on that delicious Freudian spelling error!

I think you're correct about connecting with my readers, who are probably filthy perverts. Like me.![]()

"Yes! Yes! Here is my address. The front door, my negligee and legs have all been flung wide open. Come (ho ho) immediately."

THIS ^^^ is the funniest thing I've read all day -- even funnier when I imagine it read in your (I assume) British accent. Thank you for the giggle.![]()
LOL, I have an extremely correct RP British accent. Once described as Mary Poppins reading soft core <snerk>.
(That commentator didn't get a quick fuck!)
I do think that authors who complain about their scores are being unrealistic about the quality of their work. I'm very happy and a bit surprised that my stories score as well as they do.
Nothing easier than making claims on behalf of someone else's "subconscious."
